INTEGRAL SINKSMounted under the work surface or flush with it, the seam between the AVONITE SURFACES® solid surface sink and the work surface is easily forgotten about, giving a monolithic, smooth and elegant finish.

LESS TIME SPENT CLEANINGThe AVONITE SURFACES® sink plus work surface makes a 100% hygienic combination. This virtually seamless design is considered a key component in the infection control discipline of sterile environments. Assembled seamlessly with a curved design, from the plughole to the rounded backsplash, the whole set-up eliminates any inaccessible nooks or crannies, for quick and ultra-efficient cleaning.

NO COSTLY REPAIRSThe material is resistant to standard domestic cleaning products, and is non-porous – so food stains do not permeate it. Minor damage may be easily repaired by sanding or sealing a practically imperceptible patch.

CERTIFIED NOT ONCE... TWICEAVONITE SURFACES® is setting the bar, and providing the industry a full line of solid surface sinks certified by not only Home Innovation Lab, but UL/UL-C (Canada). Both Home Innovation Lab and UL are listed under HUD UM Bulletin NO. 73a &B45.5/IAPMO Z124 Harmonized Standard for kitchen sinks and lavatory bowls.

THE NEED FOR AN ASEPTIC ENVIRONMENT DOES NOT MEAN HAVING TO COMPROMISE ON DESIGN.

HYGIENE COUNTSHospitality, Heathcare, Education, Military - There is no material that allows for greater cleanliness. AVONITE SURFACES® Wet Wall™ 6mm acrylic solid surface sheets do not absorb bacteria, can be easily cleaned using common household products, are seamlessly assembled, and the material malleability makes it possible to design curved, rather than angular, corners, for more efficient cleaning.

IMPERVIOUSAVONITE SURFACES® 6mm Wet Wall™ sheets have been designed to resist a long list of chemical products, including chloric acid. This exceptionally weatherable, strong, non-porous, scratch and stain resistant material is exceptional for architectural designs and utilitarian surfaces

FOR THE WALLS - WET WALL™ SHEETS

EASY INSTALLWET WALL™ 100% Acrylic Solid Surface 6mm sheets come in various standard sizes to meet the marketplace needs. Standard width options include 36 in., 48 in., and 60 in. wide and 96 in. length.

SHOWER BASES - TECHNICAL DATA

NON-POROUS AND SOLID

AVONITE SURFACES® shower bases are made of a nonporous homogeneous blend of polyester and acrylic resins and natural mineral fillers. Our design is solid from front to back and from top to bottom, with no overlay finish or surface coating to disrupt the inherent non-porous properties. AVONITE SURFACES® Shower Bases are stain resistant to most household reagents and is engineered to be protected from Ultra Violet light contamination.

ANSI CERTIFIED

AVONITE SURFACES® Shower Bases have been put through the test, exceeding results within the Solid Surface standard – ANSI / ICPA SS-2001. All tests were performed and certified by Home Innovation Research Labs in Maryland. Home Innovation Research Labs is a certified national testing lab and all data is readily available.

CLASS ONE FIRE RATING

AVONITE SURFACES® Shower Bases have been given a Class One fire rating with a flame spread factor of less than 25. AVONITE SURFACES® Shower Bases were tested by a nationally-certified Hardwood Plywoods Manufacturers Association laboratory to comply with the national burn test as stated in ASTM E-84.

SIMPLE MAINTENANCE

Maintenance is simple and easy as it can be cleaned with normal household detergents. While mildly abrasive cleaners will not harm surfaces, it is suggested that non-abrasive cleaners be used to clean the products. Difficult stains or abrasions can be easily conquered with the use of a green Scotchbrite® scouring pad by 3M Corporation. All AVONITE SURFACES® products are manufactured to withstand normal household use temperatures. Our shower bases are regularly tested to the CSAB45.5/IAPMO Z124 standard, which includes a thermal shock test. Care should be taken to avoid extreme temperature swings, which may shock the product and reduce the product’s life span. As with any composite product, extreme temperature swings can cause increased stress and damage to the product. One should always use care when pouring extremely hot liquids onto a cold surface or placing extremely hot items onto a cold surface or vice versa.

RIGOROUS TESTING

In addition, AVONITE SURFACES® Shower Bases have been tested beyond the established standard using a concentrated load test, in which increasing pressure is applied to a 3” diameter load distribution disc located near the drain orifice in the shower base. This test did not result in failure of the shower base that was being tested. Instead, the test was terminated at 78,375 pounds of pressure with no visible cracking or failure of the shower base in order to avoid damage to the testing equipment.
