There is a verse in Hebrews, “Do not neglect to show
hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have
entertained angels without knowing it.” I was blessed on
Monday by a stranger coming into our offices during the
lunch hour. It was unclear what it was that “Lee” needed, but something was on
her mind. As she talked about her life, her
mother, her stress, anxieties and faith, it
became clear to me that this person just
needed to release some burdens into the air.
After a while she and I offered blessings over
one another. As she left, she seemed a little
happier than the person that entered our church
building. I offer this story to you in the hopes
that you too, can offer blessings to those you
meet in the days to come.
Peace, JW.

Donating Diapers and Wipes Security National Bank and Community Development Support Association are working together to provide diapers and wipes for children in Garfield County. The bank wants to gather 15,000 diapers and 175 packages of baby wipes for CDSA’s diaper bank.
The CDSA Baby Basics Program works to help struggling families address the issue of not having enough diapers, or reusing dirty diapers. Babies are exposed to health risks from reusing diapers or staying in a wet diaper too long.
If you would like to donate diapers or wipes, you can bring them to the church and they will be transported to the proper locations.
