We can determine the number of scooters that Razor must sell to earn a target profit of $100,000 by slightly modifying the break-even point formula:
Sales revenue – Variable expenses – Fixed expenses = NOI
($500 × X) ($300 × X)– – $80,000 = $100,000
($200X) = $180,000
