ACCOUNTING

During a three-month summer internship, you will work in one accounting group to learn a segment of oil and gas accounting policy and procedure. To understand how the overall energy industry can impact accounting practices, workshops are offered in various disciplines such as Geology and Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering and Drilling, Marketing, Field Operations and Finance. You will also learn the culture of Anadarko and interact with upper management.

Rotational Accounting ProgramThe two-year rotational accounting program exposes you to

multiple facets of the oil and gas business and enables you

to build a valuable network of contacts throughout Anadarko.

You will complete eight, three-month rotations through

Anadarko’s accounting departments. Upon completion of the

program, you will be placed in one of the departments within

the company based on your interests and company needs.

The internship and rotational programs offer experiences in:• Internal Controls

• Internal Audit

• Enterprise System Management

• Operational Accounting, including Revenue,

Marketing, Property and Cost Accounting

• Corporate Tax

• Risk Accounting

• Financial Accounting

and Reporting
