AKRAPOVIC APRILIA RACING 2004 EXHAUST*
From a partnership between Aprilia Racing and the Akrapovic
R&D team comes the latest evolution of the 2 in 2 exhaust
system for the RSV 1000 R 2004. In this new version of the Aprilia
Akrapovic exhaust system, power delivery is more fluid and
controllable, making for a significantly improved acceleration out
of corners and extended performance in the overrev band. The use of
lightweight titanium and carbon fibre combined with a carefully
designed configuration improve the handling of the bike, making it
more responsive and less tiring to ride. These outstanding results
are also due to the completely revised performance mapping to suit
the characteristics of the new RSV 1000 R 2004. Extensive testing
on the bench and on the circuit has produced the ideal setup to
ensure maximum performance with maximum reliability. A further
innovation introduced with the RSV 1000 R 2004 is the possibility
to activate the dedicated mapping, which is already installed on
the bike’s ECU, using the diagnostic tool supplied to the Aprilia
Service Network.

6061aluminium. Thanks to use of lightweight material and advanced
forging technology, these special wheels (front and rear) help
reduce the power required to move and steer the bike: the result is
significantly improved handling, both on the road and on the
racetrack. The reduction in weight produces a corresponding
reduction in inertia and the gyroscopic forces that determine the
equilibrium and behaviour of the bike.

CARBON PARTS
Lightweight racing parts for road use.Made from carbon fibre
with clear finish, these components afford on average a 45%
reduction in weight compared with the corresponding standard parts.
They have passed all TÜV safety and homologation tests and are

silencer has been designed to obtain the very best performance and
race handling from the Tuono 1000 R. A totally authentic racing
sound, increased torque and power, plus a significant reduction in
the total weight and dimensions of the bike thanks to the use of
titanium: an ultra light material with exceptional mechanical
strength and corrosion resistance. These characteristics ensure an
overall improvement in handling, more responsive steering and
faster acceleration out of bends. The dedicated EPROM chip was
developed exclusively for this system and fine tuned through
extensive testing both on the bench and on the track.
SP TITANIUM TWIN EXHAUST*
Straight from World SBK Championship.Designed exclusively for
use on the racetrack, the SP Titanium is derived from the exhaust
systems fitted to the RSV Mille SP, the bike with which Aprilia
made its debut in the World Superbike Championship. It is a racing
silencer with aggressive styling, specifically designed to optimise
the race performance of the Tuono 1000 R. The use of titanium makes
for increased power and torque with a reduction in overall weight
of the machine. This means a net improvement in handling with more
responsive steering and more punch out of corners. The carbon fibre
mounting bracket and heat shield add a further touch of refinement

CARBON PARTS
Lightweight performance GP-style.A total of 13 special parts
made from carbon fibre with a transparent finish, affording on
average a 45% reduction in weight compared with the corresponding
standard parts. They have passed all TÜV safety and homologation
tests and are therefore equally suitable for use on the road as on
the racetrack.
ENGINE KIT - STAGE 1*
The ultimate expression of Aprilia racing spirit. Made by
Aprilia Racing exclusively for the track, this kit includes engine
parts and the Akrapovic Aprilia Racing exhaust system, together
with a dedicated EPROM chip specially programmed to get maximum
performance from the machine in terms of power and torque, for
faster steering response and acceleration out of bends, as well
significantly extended power in the overrev band.

CARBON AIRBOX PLUS 57Ø MMTHROTTLE BODY*
For use in conjunction with a racing exhaust system to enhance
performance. Developed exclusively for racing use, this is a
complete programme to increase the volume and output of the air
intake system on the RSV 1000 and RSV 1000 R Year 01/02/03, while
reducing overall weight through the use of carbon fibre. The
overbored throttle body provides a net increase in available power.
When used in conjunction with the RSV Titanium Evo mono exhaust or
the SBK Replica “Aprilia by Akrapovic” 2 in 2 system, it gives a
further boost to acceleration. The kit comprises: carbon fibre
airbox, 57 mm throttle body, dedicated EPROM chip plus cover,
throttle cables, gasket set and instruction manual.

AKRAPOVIC APRILIA RACING EXHAUST*
Ultimate performance on the track.Designed in partnership
between Aprilia and Akrapovic exclusively for race use, this is a
replica of the exhausts fitted to the RSV 1000 in the SBK
Championship. Elegant, aggressive looks are combined with the top
quality materials of titanium and carbon fibre giving a combination
of strength, performance and low weight. Ensures superior handling,
more responsive steering and faster acceleration out of corners, as
well as a net improvement in performance in the overrev band. The
dedicated EPROM was created exclusively for this exhaust system and

SP TITANIUM TWIN EXHAUST*
Direct from Aprilia Racing.Adapted from the system used on the
RSV Mille SP, the bike with which Aprilia made its debut in the
World Superbike Championship, this exhaust is exclusively for
racing and is specifically designed to optimise performance of the
RSV Mille on the circuit. The use of titanium reduces the overall
weight of the bike. This makes for a net improvement in handling
characteristics, with more responsive steering and faster
acceleration out of corners. A carbon fibre mounting bracket and
heat shield help reduce weight and add extra kudos to the
aggressive styling. The dedicated EPROM was developed exclusively

6061aluminium. Thanks to use of lightweight material and advanced
forging technology, these special wheels (front and rear) afford a
reduction in the power required to move and steer the bike: the
result is significantly improved handling, both on the road and on
the track. The reduction in weight produces a corresponding
reduction in inertia and the gyroscopic forces that determine the
equilibrium and behaviour of the bike.

AKRAPOVIC APRILIA RACING 2004 EXHAUST*
From a partnership between Aprilia Racing and the Akrapovic
R&D team comes the latest evolution of the 2 in 2 exhaust
system for the RSV 1000 R 2004.
In this new version of the Aprilia Akrapovic exhaust system,
power delivery is more fluid and controllable, making for a
significant improvement in acceleration out of bends and extended
performance in the overrev band. The use of lightweight titanium
and carbon fibre combined with a carefully designed configuration
improve the handling of the bike, making it more responsive and
less tiring to ride. These outstanding results are also due to the
completely revised performance mapping to suit the characteristics
of the new RSV 1000 R 2004. Extensive testing on the bench and on
the circuit has produced the ideal setup to ensure maximum
performance with maximum reliability. A further innovation
introduced with the RSV 1000 R 2004 is the possibility to activate
the dedicated mapping, which is already installed on the bike’s
ECU, using the diagnostic tool supplied to the Aprilia Service
Network.
TITANIUM APRILIA RACING*
The slip on exhaust kit born out of Aprilia racing experience
and created exclusively for use on the racetrack.
Made with a titanium outer shell and steel inner tubing, this
exhaust provides a global improvement in performance: the system
comes into its own at 6000 rpm, from which point there is a
consistent increase in power and torque. These results are achieved
thanks to the dedicated performance mapping, which has been
specifically designed to suit the new engine characteristics and
refined through extensive testing both on the bench and on the
track. In the case of the 2004 model, the dedicated mapping is
already installed on the bike’s ECU and can be activated using the
diagnostic tool supplied to the Aprilia Service Network.
Surprisingly quick and simple installation is a yet another
advantage of this excellent kit.

Developed to meet the demands of international competition, this
sports silencer is specifically designed to optimise the
performance and racetrack handling of the RSV 1000. An authentic
racing sound is accompanied by an increase in power and torque and
a significant reduction in the weight and overall dimensions of the
bike, thanks to the use of titanium: an ultra light material with

SP TITANIUM TWIN EXHAUST*
Designed to bring the performance and feeling of the World

This series of exhausts has been directly adapted from the
system used on the RSV SP, the special version of the RSV 1000
prepared for the SBK Championship. Twin racing exhaust with dynamic
looks, designed to optimise performance of the RSV 1000 on the
racetrack. The use of titanium makes for a reduction in overall
weight of the machine with improved handling round bends and
steering agility. The carbon fibre mounting bracket and heat shield
reduce weight even further while adding a touch of prestige. The
dedicated EPROM was developed exclusively and fine tuned through
testing both on the bench and on the track.
AKRAPOVIC APRILIA RACING EXHAUST*
Replica exhaust inspired by Aprilia’s experience in the World
Superbike Championship.
