Accessing Workspace Anyware™ Demo Environment Business Desktop Below are instructions on how to connect to the Lume Demo Business Desktop workspace. This is a POC running out of Lume’s ATL1 Data Center at 56 Marietta Street.
Accessing the POC VDI Environment You can access the VDI via the VMware View Client Note: The View Client is the fastest connection type to the VDI and should be the primary method of connecting to the VDI workspace
Installing the Horizon View Client
1. From a browser https://atl1.lumeworkspace.com/ 2. Click Install VMware Horizon Client to download the client

3. Select Version 5.0 and the download based on your operating system
4. Click Download to begin the Horizon Client install
5. After the install has downloaded run the installer to install the client by double clicking the VMware-
Horizon-...exe file (Note: This view is from a Chrome Browser Download toolbar)

6. Once launched, click Agree & Install on the privacy agreement and license terms prompt.
7. Click Finish

8. Reboot your computer if prompted.
To launch the Horizon View Client
1. If you don’t need to reboot, click Next on the installer setup dialog box. If a reboot is required, locate the VMware Horizon Client desktop icon on the desktop to run the client. Note: After the install, you will have a green Horizon View Icon on our desktop
2. Run the View Client by double-clicking

Configure the View Server
1. Double Click Add New Server
2. In the Connection Server dialog box type atl1.lumeworkspace.com and click Connect

Log into the Lume Demo Desktop Profile
1. Enter the Username: Provided Via Email from a Lume Representative 2. Enter the Password: Provided Via Email from a Lume Representative
Click Login
Change Client Settings
1. Right Click the Lume Demo desktop and Select the Settings Options

2. Select the Lume Demo options screen if not already selected
3. For the Connect Via drop-down box, select PCoIP (default)

4. Select your Display: Recommend Full screen
5. Verify Allow display scaling is checked and click Apply and click OK to save your settings and close

Launching the Desktop
1. Double-click the Lume Demo desktop icon in the view client to launch the desktop
The Lume Demo desktop is displayed:

Signing out of the Desktop
1. The correct way to end the VDI session is to Disconnect and Log Off Click Options > Select Disconnect and Log Off
