Advertising your vacancies to thousands of Brunel students and graduates couldn’t be easier – and it’s free of charge. If it’s part-time, vacation work or a graduate opportunity you can advertise on our online jobs board; Brunel students and recent graduates

can access this all year round from wherevertheyare.Withthousandsofstudents signed up for email alerts, and the option to circulate your opportunity to specific cohorts, you can be confident that your vacancy is reaching its target audience.

Part-timejobsandshortterm internships

Student employees can offer organisational skills, experience and creativity in their approach to work. Part-time jobs and short term internships are valued by our students and provide excellent opportunities to build their skills and gain experience for the graduate job market whilst also adding value to the recruiting organisation. Whetheryouarelookingforanongoingpart-time employee, or someone to join your team to support a specific project, we can advise on the best way to attract the most suitable candidates.

Workplacements

As one of the UK’s leading providers of work based learning opportunities we are proud of our 40 year tradition in partnering with employers from all sectorsofUKPLCaswellaspublicsectorandcharitableorganisations.Wehaveacommitment to incorporating extensive periods of work experience into many of our courses. These opportunities are usually 12 months long or two 6 month periods for particular disciplines, which are co-ordinated by our award winning Placementteam.WithdedicatedPlacement Officers for each discipline and strong relationships with the academic schools, our knowledgeable and experienced staff are on hand to provide advice and information about the placement process and will ensure efficient, successful promotion of your opportunities.

Graduatejobs

Brunel graduates continue to receive support from the Placement and Careers Centre for up to two years after graduation which makes our vacancy board the ideal place to attract graduate talent. Our Careers Consultants work with specific cohorts of students; enabling them to advise you of the best way to target the most relevant students. In addition, they are able to offer advice on creating the most attractive advert and managing the recruitment process.

Raise your profile

The Placement and Careers Centre organise many events throughout the year giving you the opportunity to meet Brunel students, raise yourprofileoncampusandnetworkwithotheremployers.

FairsPart-TimeWorkandVolunteerJobsFair

Need students to work part-time or during vacations? Are you a charity that needs to recruit students for a project? Right at the start of the academic year, this fair is popular with employers and students.

Autumn Placement, Careers andInternationalFair

Held in November, this fair is the ideal chance to advertise graduate and placement opportunities both in the UK and abroad to Brunel students early in the year and meet potential applicants.

TeachersFair

Primarily targeting PG Cert students, this fair in January is also open to students from all courses and disciplines interested in a career in the sector. It allows students to find out about recruitment processes and job opportunities.

SummerGraduateRecruitmentFair

Taking place in May, this fair is open to graduates from all UK universities giving you access to a large number of candidates.

WorkshopsWorkshopsareanidealopportunityforyoutocontributetoourstudents’skillsdevelopment and their preparation forplacementandgraduatejobs.Ourworkshopsfocusonwrittenapplications, CVs and application forms, assessmentcentres,interviewskillsand developing commercial awareness; but we’re always open to new topics.Workshopsbenefitgreatlyfromemployerinputandwearealwayskeento discuss potential involvement. If it is specifically placement students you are lookingtorecruit,wealsocoordinateanumberofskillsbasedsessionsaspart of the pre-placement module which is delivered in the curriculum.

Careers Uncovered

These events are designed to provide insights for students in to the variety of career paths and breadth of opportunities that are available in anyonesector.Whynotsendalonga recent graduate to talk about their role and what it’s like to work for

you? Of course, if you can’t make it to one of these events, we can organise a promotional stand on campus or a presentation direct to students.

Sponsorship and advertising

Promote your organisation to thousands of students and strengthen your links with Brunel University by adding your name to our innovative products and services. Sponsor one of our student information booklets or our careers fair brochures, we have options to suit your budget.
