1. k1troduction

The Camilleri Melba South Claim Group ( the Property ) was acquired over a period of time for its potential to host gold and copper mine_ralization of economic interest. The Claim Group is located in the south to southwestern part of Melba township and the adjacent part of Berrifiardt fownshfp to the souffi;-approximately 15 km north of Kirkland Lake;)Bfstr.ict of Timiskaming, Larder Lake Mining Division, Ontario. Between ·November 17 and 20, 2018, 4 lines of Gradient Induced Polarization (lP) surveying totalling 8.65 km were completed on the Property by Dan Patrie Exploration Ltd., an experienced geophysical contractor.

The following report presents a brief review of the regional and property geology as well as a summary of previous work in the area and a description of the work done and the results obtained.

2. Property

The Claim Group being reported on consists of 67 active MLAS mining claims/cells as shown in Figure 2 and as listed in Table 1. They cover an area of approxirnately:1000 ha.

3. Location and Access

The Claim Group is loc?ted in the southerp to southwestern part of Melba· township and the adja,cent northern to northwestern part of Bernhardt township at UTM ·co-brdinates, NAO 83, Zone 17, 566750mE,5347600mN. The Property is approximately 15 km north of Kirkland Lake and can be acc?ssed by gr�yel roads as_ shown in Figure 3.

The Melba township area is underlainby Archean-age metavolcanic rocks of the Blake river Group which ?xtends from the Timmins area in the west to and beyond, Noranda, Quebec in the east in the form of a large sync!inorium. The geological sequence is summarized in Table 2, Table of Lithologic Units. The Archean assemblage is a volcanic sequence with interbedded metasediments in th -e upper part. The metavolcanictn!rre ptedominantly intermediate in composition, however, there are mafic metavolcanics in the upper part and felsic metavolcanics in the lower part. Regional al teration is in general of a low grade.

Late mafic intrusive rocks of Matachewan age occur in the area as part of a swarm of north-trending diabase dykes extending east from Benoit township.

Major faults in the area trend north to northwest (Ontario Geological Survey Map 2252).

Pleistocene deposits consist mainly of sand, g ravel and clay deposited on the Archean basement units during the Wisconsin glacial retreat (Jensen, 1 972).

Figure 4 is a copy of the OGS airborne residual magnetic field survey map of the Melbai�:md adjacent townships area.and shows the dominant east-southeast, regional trend. The Melba South Claim Group in the southern part of Melba township overlies an area of mafic metavolcanic units while the areas to the north and south (blue) are underlain by metavolcanics of an intermediate to felsic composition (OGS Prel. 5. Previous Work in the Area .,.

Following the discovery of gold in area in 1 906 there . · �as work in the Melba area based on of old pits, , however, the first

recorded work dates from 1934. At this time in the northwestern quadrant of Melba township, north of the Black River gold mineralization was d iscovered fol lowed by extensive surface work, underground exploratio·n and diamond

. drilling. The operation was shut down due to the onset of World War I I in 1939. The next work was in 1·959 by Pitchvein Mines Limited through to 1 96a and consisted of stripping, dewatering of the shaft and workings, UG mapping and sampling and surface and UG diamond dri l l ing. The Property was shut down in 1963. This property is currently represented by the patented claims in this area. A bulk sample taken from UG returned 0.210 oz gold per ton across a vein width of 4.5 ft.

In 1 962 chalcopyrite minerali�ation was discovered i n the northeastern part of Melba township and over the next 3 years several pits were put down . . ! n 1965 Midrim Mining Company Limited optioned the property, carried out an airborne survey and dril led 7 holes for a total of 2932 ft.The main vein is 1 foot wide and 500 ft long and contains .small specks of chatcopyrite and gold .

Kinika Gold Mines Limited carried out considerable exploration work in the 1 920's in northwestern Bernhardt township approximately 2 km south of the current Melba South Pr9perty (Figure 4 - Kinika Gold Mines, after ODM Pref. Map 446, Site 10) {White quartz veins carrying epidote and less than 5% pyrite were explored with the best gold values being 0.23 and 0.58 oz gold/ton. The longest veins parall el the ESE-trending metavolcanic contacts while the widest veins are perpendicular to the contacts. (Rupert and Lovell, 1970)

6. Gra.dient IP Survey Program and Results

. Between November 1 7 and 20, 2018, Dan Pat�ie Exploration Ltd. at the request of Mr. Camilleri carried out a Gradient' IP Survey on the Camilleri Melba South Claim Group. The program consisted of line-

. cutting followed by the IP Survey along 4 north-south lines as shown in Figue 5, for a total of 8.65 line-km.

Commencing on the 17 November the current electrodes, wire and the generator and transmitter were moved to the survey area and the current electrodes and connecting cable were put in place in the central part of the area to be surveyed (Figures 4 and 5). The southern current electrode was located at UTM co-ordinates 567000mE, 5345400mN with the northern current electrode at 567000mE, 5349500mN, approximately 41 00 m north of the southern electrode and 500 m north of the north ends of the survey lines. The southern electrode was approximately 500 m south of the south end of Line 68E and the generator and transmitter were also at this site. The 4 lines were surveyed along pre-cut lines at the the following locations and all lines run north-south.

Line 65E, 565000mE and 5346600mN to 5349000mN, 2.35 km

Line 66E, 5661 OOmE and 5346600mN to 5349000mN, 2.35 km

Line 67E, 567400mE and 5346600mN to 5349000mN, 2.35 km

Line 68E, 568900mE and 5345900mN to 5347500mN, 1.6 km

Line 65E was read starting at the south end with one measuring electrode at 0+00 and the second measuring electrode at 0+50 mN, a = 50 m., with the balanc of the line being read in 50 m intervals for a total of 47 readings per line. The other 3 lines were surveyed in a similar fashion.

For each read ing taken in the field , the nPR-12 Receiver calculates the chargeability and resistivity for the site . h1 addition to the readings taken, the e lectrode array and locations are also noted by the ORerator. The current vonage at the time of the reading is also recorded. Fol!owinQI the completion.of the survey, the recorded chargeabmty and resistivity values cani be downk,ader:f from the !PR-12 Receiver to a computer with a Geosoft program and from there the chargeability and resistivity values can be plotted as maps as presented in Figures 6 and 7. Mr Gab Roy supervised the field work and did the corr1put�f work.

The !P Survey Equipment Specifications for the motor generator, transmitter and !PR-12 Receiver arre provided in Appendix L The transmitter can pulse at 1, 2 , 4, 8, 1 6 or 32 seconds and for this survey a 2 second on and off cycle was used . During the survey, readings were generally completed within a 5 minute time interval which is normal. Clhargeability readings are reported as mVN and resitivity values as ohm-metres.

The traverse on Line 65E was from south to north and at the start of the line the underlying ground is generally one of low, small to medium size knobby outcrops covered by glacial sediments varying in composition from clay to sand. At approximately 4+00 mN the line crosses a branch of the Little Black River which flows northwesterly. The area of outcrop continues to approximately 20+00 mN with low to swampy ground to the end of the line at 23+50 mN. Line 66E is very similar to Line 65E in that i t mainly traverses knobby outcrops covered by glacial sediments. Between 4+00 mN to 6+00 mN line 66 runs along the Li ttle Black River and at 7+00 mN i t crosses the southern, east-west access road (Figure 3). Line 67E from i ts south end to 16+00 mN crosses knobby, glacial sediment covered ground as for Lines 65E and 66E. From 16+00 mN to almost the end of the line i s low to swampy. From 18+00 mN to 20+00 mN the line parallels Melba Creek which flows north into the Black River. The last 300 m of the line is underlain by knobby outcrops covered by glacial $�diments. Line 68,E is 1600 m long and crosses the southern, east-west access road at approximately 3+00 mN. and contacts the north-trending access road at 16+00 mN. From here the north-south access road runs south, parallel to the line

for about 500 m then trends off to the southeast. The l ine mainly l ies on knobby outcrops, however, the covering sediments are more sandy due to a north-south-trending esker to the east.

The only cultural features in the area are the access roads and they did not appear to affect the readings.

Vegetation in the a rea consists dominantly of jackpine in the areas of sandy to gravelly soils plus spruce, poplar and birch. Several years ago the larger trees in the area were harvested. I n the areas of low ground such as along Melba Creek alders are common. No problems with electrode contact were reported by the field crews from the lines . .

The temperatures in the Kirkland Lake area at the time of the field work varied from daytime highs of =2 "C to ovemight l ows of = 16° C so the ground was in the process of freezing, however, the ground was stm soft enou{gh that there were no reported problems with electrode contact

in Figures 6, 7, 8 and 9 , the calculated chargeabilities and resistivities for the survey l ines, 65E, 66E, 67E and 68E. have been plotted. The minimum chargeability value recorded is from Line 67E at 2 mVN while the maximum value is from Line 65E and is 9.2 mVN, for a difference of only 7.2 mVN. Resistivity values for the 4 l ines surveyed range from 4190 ohm-metres to 43120 ohm-metres. For comparison purposes, another Gradient IP survey by the same contractor approximately 20 km to the east in a similar geological environment (Blake River Group metavolcanics) returned chargeability values from zero to 70 mVN and resistivity values from 200 ohm-metres. to 37260 ohm-metres. Based on this comparison and the writer's , experience with IP surveys it is considered that the chargeability values are al l in the low "background" range and would at best represent very

. low amounts of disseminated sulphides. The resistivity values appear to be typical of Archean metavolcanics in the area.

The work program was carried out by Dan Patrie Exploration ltd., an experienced geophysical contractor with Mr. Brent Patrie, owner/manager responsible for the overall program. The field program was carried out and supervised by Mr. Gab Roy who also did the plotting of the final maps. Field assistants were Beau Nevme, Espanola, James Henderson, Webbwood, Hunter Busch, Val Therese, Ron Bilton, Massey and Bronson Edy, Capreol. No log of the work program was kept, however, the information in this report was provided by Mr. Brent Patrie and Mr. Gab Roy.and by the writer from h is experience nn general , and the Kirkland lake area in particular.

7. Sum marry and Recommendations

Four l ines of a Gradient IP survey were completed on the Melba South Claim Group as shown in Figure 5 with the chargeability and resistivity values for each l ine plotted in Figures 6, 7, 8 and 9. The 4 l ines are paral lel , run north-south and represent a total of 8.65 l ine-km. The calculated chargeability values fal l in what would normally be considered as low "background" values. The calculated resistivity values are considered to be typical for the Archean metavolcanics in the area. To further evaluate the area of the survey for mineralization of economic interest it is recommended that a program of prospecting, sampling and geological mapping be carried out. If the results of this work are positive then soil geochemical surveying is recommended to identify areas of interest and if this work provided targets of interest then some Pole-Dipole work cou ld be considered.
