Accenture and MurexCapital markets firms today face increasing complexity and risk exposure from cross-asset class and derivatives trading. Now, more than ever, having integrated trading architectures will be critical to success.
That’s where Accenture Trading Services comes in. We work with leading firms to transform their front-, middle- and back-office operations and risk management departments. A part of this business is dedicated to Murex and other trading platforms, and thus Accenture maintains close relationships with leading trading platform vendors and has developed many custom solu tion accelerators around these vendor’s products. Murex’s integrated trading, risk management and settlement solutions make it one of the leading providers in the capital markets industry.
In 1994, Accenture delivered its first successful Murex implementation. Since then, Accenture and Murex have formed a relationship that has generated a large international Accenture community of subject matter experts.
We have extensive experience with Murex software, covering a broad range of asset classes, including FX and money markets, fixed income, derivatives and commodities.
We also cover functional domains, ranging from sales and distribution to front, middle and back office, and collateral management. Details of our dedicated client expe rience are available upon request.
AccentureThe alliance provides Accenture with a number of unique possibilities to significantly extend the development of solution accelerators and market Accenture owned tools around Murex. Accenture is also entitled to deliver excellent support, release and configuration management services from locations around the world, including o�-shore locations like India, without requiring additional agreements.
More than 100 of those are based in India where they help clients implement, maintain and support, and upgrade and run their Murex solutions. Since 2002, Accenture and Murex have operated a joint training program in Murex’s central o�ce in Paris where Accenture employees work in Murex support teams over several months and gain hands-on experience with various Murex applications by supporting actual customers of the software.
Accenture and Murex bring together a solid leader in software development for trading, risk management and processing with Accenture’s unparalleled industry knowledge, integration capabilities and service o�erings. In 1994, Accenture delivered its first Murex implementation project successfully to a client. Since then, we have worked on a large number of upgrade, migration and application management projects. Our teams have experience with all generations of Murex solutions, particularly those still in production: Mx Generation 2000 and MX.3 (including MX Risk Manager).
Our Center of Excellence supports multiple live clients and provides training, research and comprehensive development facilities, including the development of Murex-specific tools for environment deployment, configuration management, test automation and results validation.
