So far, I t’s been a busy (and very exciting!) 201 3 for us at Prestige Imports. Here is a recapof some of the “behind the scene” things that have been going at the dealership.
- We’ve secured a 25% increase in new Audi al location from the manufacturer, which wil lal low us to sell over 850 new Audi vehicles in 201 3.
- Porsche A.G. is now able to increase production at their German facil ities, which meanswe wil l see a 20% increase in new Porsche inventory this year alone. Also, stay tuned forthe launch of their new mid-sized SUV, the Macan.
- Our 201 3 Winter Ice Driving event was held in early January and was attended by an over-capacity group of both cl ients and employees.
- Both Porsche and Audi service departments have been expanded to allow for greaterservice volume with shorter wait times.
- Our first quarter customer service rankings for both sales and service were the highest inthe state of Colorado.
- We’re busily planning for our 3rd annual Mountain Driving Tour. This year’s date is June 1 ,201 3. Mark your calendars and come out for a drive , fol lowed by a BBQ lunch after you’vereturned. I t’s open to everyone!
- Thanks to your continued support and patronage, our business has grown. This hasallowed us to hire additional people, making our total employee count 1 30. This representsa 1 5% increase in employment opportunity in just 8 months. We’re proud to be able tosupport our own community.
As always, we wish to say Thank You. Without you, we wouldn’t be here. I welcome yourcomments and thoughts any time – simply email me at [email protected]. Pleaselet me know what I can do to make our level of service match your expectations.

60 Performance Cars, 1 Frozen Lake, Tons of Fun
Just a few days into the new year, on January 5th
and 6th, Prestige Imports hosted our second
annual Winter Driving Event. Once again, the
event was held on the sl ippery surface of
Georgetown Lake in Georgetown, CO.
We had a great turn-out for both days of driving.
Saturday was dedicated to getting Prestige
Imports customers out on the ice, and Sunday
was pretty evenly spl it between customers and
Prestige Imports employees. On both days,
breakfast and lunch were served at The Alpine
Restaurant and Bar, and a morning classroom
training session inspired everyone to push their
driving skil ls and learn the low traction handling
l imits of their vehicles.
In addition to driving their own cars, Winter Driving
Event participants had the opportunity to drive a
number of Prestige Imports vehicles including a
Porsche Panamera, Porsche Cayenne, Porsche
Cayenne Diesel, Audi A4, Audi al lroad, and a few
Audi Q5's. These vehicles were very popular and
spent the whole day out on the ice.
Instruction and logistical support for the event
were provided by Qclub North America. Their
personable and highly trained instructors were
available to accompany drivers out on the course,
and monitored everyone's progress, ensuring a
weekend of safe and enjoyable driver training.
Each day's morning session was used to build a
level of comfort and acquaint drivers with the
challenges of driving on the extremely sl ick
surface of the ice. The afternoon sessions allowed
for more complicated courses that enabled drivers
to really improve their ski l ls and push their
vehicles to the l imit. As the day wound down,
drivers were sti l l putting the cars through their
paces unti l darkness started to set in.
Al l in al l , the event was a great success, and we
are really looking forward to putting it on again
next year.

A Couple Enjoying Life, Love, and Audi Cars
Dan and Vaniece Sinawski both share a passionfor each other, Colorado, travel and their Audis.Dan, a Vietnam era Air Force veteran was drawnto Colorado 37 years ago because of his devotionto ski patrol l ing, which he spent 20 years doingboth professionally and as a volunteer. He servedas a Law Enforcement Coordinator, working withColorado’s Chiefs, Sheriffs and District Attorneys.Eventual ly he started his own criminal justiceconsulting company, Dynamic EnterpriseServices. Vaniece, a relative newcomer to thestate, arrived 1 0 years ago after she and Dan gotmarried. Her career as a model evolved intobecoming a professional cosmetologist and amerchandise buyer for a clothing boutique, whichtook her around the world.
Today, they each pursue individual interests. She,gourmet cooking and he, a love of Scuba diving inwhich he received his Masters certification afterbeing involved with the sport for just one year.
The couple has owned more than 1 0 brandnamed vehicles over the years, always searchingfor the "right brand". Four years ago, Dan stoppedinto the Prestige Imports showroom, just to "look."I t was on a snowy day in January and Dan wasjust passing by with “a l ittle time to kil l . ” Heexplained to Adam Moore that he was not in themarket and was truly just looking. According toDan, Adam graciously offered to answer anyquestions and without pressure suggested thatDan go for a quick ride in a 2005 A8L and that's al lit took - today, Dan is enjoying a 201 2 A8L, histhird, and Vaniece just traded her A8L for a 201 3Q5 which she raves about every time she getsbehind the wheel.
The couple loves to travel, enjoying foreigncultures and lands. They also enjoy the relaxationof sea cruises. A favorite annual junket is to theirfavorite resort in Cozumel, Mexico where Vaniecejust kicks back and Dan scuba-dives. Ironical ly,they don't take many road trips but when they dothey claim to experience an almost homey feelingbecause of the comfort and technology thatsurrounds them in their vehicles.
In Dan’s words, “All the many other brands anddealerships are permanently behind us” and theyfeel that they have final ly found the perfect matchwith Audi. They also state that they experience agenuine feeling of friendship with many of theemployees whenever they are at the dealership. Infact, Dan stops in often, just for the coffee anddonuts. He says it's a carryover from his days inlaw enforcement.

Here we interview R.J. , a new Audi customer that
purchased his 2013 allroad just this last fall and who
has become something of a fixture at our events and
on our social media pages. . .
What made you choose the Audi allroad as your
next vehicle?
I was the owner of a VW Sportwagen TDI as my daily
driver. My wife drives our VW Touareg. At the time we
only had one child so the Sportwagen worked out for
what we needed. Then our second child arrived and
all of a sudden the backseat of the Sportwagen got
very small and the car seat for the newborn just didn't
fit.
In late 2011 I started reading about Audi possibly
bringing the A4 allroad to the United States and loved
the look of the '1 3 facelift that was done.
In late January 201 2 Prestige Imports got its hands on
a Euro-spec allroad for customer test drives and from
the very first day I walked through the door everyone
treated me like I have been a lifelong customer despite
never having owned an Audi before or purchasing from
Prestige Imports. My friend Rob has been a Prestige
Imports customer for several years and he and I both
test drove the allroadOchanging Stacie Davis’ l ife
forever! ! ! !
Not only did Stacie let us give the Euro-al lroad the
test. . . . she was able to arrange a weekend long test
drive of an allroad once Prestige received its demo car
from Audi. Having the chance to spend the weekend
with the car was really the opportunity to see if this car
would fit into our family and from that point it was a
done deal. Not only did our l ittle girl 's car seat fit with
the front seats in a good spot for driving. . . but having
Quattro, xenon headlights and all of the other features
made the allroad a perfect fit. Room, al l-weather
capabil ity and decent fuel-economy (especial ly coming
from a TDI) made the allroad the vehicle for us.
Stacie Davis put up with al l of my insanity during the
ordering process. Delivery was crazy fun.
What do you like to do in your free time and how
does the allroad fit into your lifestyle?
I l ike to drive! ! ! Whether it's just a highway drive
around town to an actual road trip out of town. . . . I get a
lot of joy from driving. I t's my therapy!
I also spend a lot of time with my kids. They won't be
this age forever and one day I may be in a nursing
home. . . so a lot of time invested on the front end wil l
hopeful ly pay off on that back end. After al l . . . these
kids may be deciding which "home" I l ive in! : )
Two weeks after taking delivery of my allroad my
buddy Rob and I decided we would take our boys
(mine was five, his is four) on a Dude's Fall Colors
Road Trip in the Colorado Mountains. We loaded up
and headed out to see the aspens and other trees
turning colors. My son can get a bit car sick if I 'm a
little too aggressive when carving up twisty mountain

roads. . . so I told him to make sure he warned me if his
stomach was feeling a l ittle iffy during the road trip.
My son and his pal decided on the trip to have a
"water chugging contest" and they both nearly wiped
out 8-ounce bottles within a couple of minutes. A
short time later my son told me his stomach was upset
and wham! about two-seconds later al l hel l broke
loose in the back seat. My first thought was "holy
crap!" We stopped as quickly as we could. My kiddo
was fine, a l ittle upset. Then it was time to frantical ly
get that back seat cleaned up to maintain that "new
car smell . " Thankful ly we were next to a river and that
came in very handy, I ’ l l spare you the nasty detai ls.
At the beginning of November, I decided to surprise
my son with a birthday road trip to Las Vegas. He's
real ly into mil itary jets and so I thought taking him to
Aviation Nation at Nell is Air Force Base in Las Vegas
would be right up his al ley. The drive to Las Vegas
turned out to be a textbook test of the allroad's
abil ities. We hit high winds, approximately 70mph
according to weather reports. We drove into two sand
storms and were hammered by heavy rains a couple
of times that left parts of I -70 in Utah looking l ike a
lake. We then were blanketed by fog near Richfield,
Utah and eventual ly a snow storm to round it al l out.
By the time we got to St. George, Utah the clouds
broke, the sun came out and our “guy's weekend” in
Vegas turned out to be a blast!
The drive home was much calmer.
What kind of work do you do and does the allroad
play any role in your career?
I work for a television news network as a Regional
Assignment Editor. I t's my job to know what's going on
in the western part of the United States and make sure
we have video and information, especial ly in breaking
12 ACCELERATE 03/2013
news situations. My allroad gets me to work when the
weather doesn't want to cooperate. My job requires
me to be there even if Old Man Winter does not so the
allroad gets that job done without me spending my life
at the gas station.
Have you ever attended one of Prestige Imports’
events? What did you enjoy most about it?
Yes. . .Oktoberfest! I f I need to explain. . .you haven't
attended!
I also recently attended ice driving: I can't even begin
to describe how much fun that was! ! ! Not only do you
get to lose control off your vehicle without smashing it
to bits, we learned things to help prevent losing control
al l together. The instructors were really helpful. I got
some great advice on how to drive my allroad and get
around the tractrion control system when it becomes a
bit intrusive --- when you don't want it to be.
I t's quite impressive to have Prestige organize this
event and even bring along other vehicles to "test 'em
out" on the ice. Bottom line: it was an incredibly fun
day. . .and you learned something to boot!
