Introduction by Orla Collins, President, ACCA Ireland

I am pleased to introduce the ACCA Ireland CPD Programme 2011.

I am delighted to serve as your President and I look forward to meeting you at some of the events in the coming year. By attending ACCA courses, you can develop your skills base, and you can also avail of the opportunity to network with your peers.

Networking is particularly relevant in the current economic climate so I would encourage you to participate as much as possible in ACCA events.

This programme has been designed by your fellow members in consultation with the Members’ Services team at ACCA Ireland and I would like to thank members throughout the country for their input and on-going support.

You will find courses to meet the training needs of members in all business sectors throughout the country – no doubt there will be a number of options to suit you too.

ACCA values feedback from members at all times as we seek to ensure that our courses are relevant, of high quality and keenly priced. We welcome your comments and feedback on the 2011 courses and on all services to members. If you have any comments on the programme or if you would like to get more involved with ACCA Ireland, please contact the Members’ Services team listed on page 24.

I wish you every success in the coming year.
