Introduction :-

Kachchh District – Largest District in India.

Favorite Travel destination for all.

Major Sea Ports Kandla & Mundra with SEZ, Airports,

Railways, Highways, White Desert, Crafts, Embroidery,

Flamingo city, Folk Music, Dholavira Hadappan culture, etc.

The legionary personality like Late Shri Shyamji Krishna

Verma was a proud son of this soil only.

Export oriented units, Mining activities, Fertilizer plants,

Chemical industries, Salt manufacturers, Cement

industries, Sea port developmental activities were steadily

growing up in the district till year 2001. 3

Devastating Earthquake of 2001 shattered the Ancient

Buildings, Houses & Effected living standard of peoples.

The immediate Hon’ble PM Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee

formed a policy for rehabilitation work & relief work as well

as industrial developmental work in Kachchh. With the

efforts of aimmediate Hon’ble CM, Shree Narendrabhai

Modi, the excise and sales tax incentives declared by

Central and State government proved a game changer.

Now a day’s Kachchh has became a functional commercial

hub like Gandhidham & Bhuj as well as Tourism Attractive

Places like white desert, Dholavira hadappan cultural site,

Narayan sarovar, Koteshwar, Flamingo city, Shrine Place

Jesal Toral, Vijay Vilas Palace, Mandvi Beach, Black Hill

and Dhinodhar Hill & Many more. 4

Shri Narendbhai Modi also unveiled the potential of

Kachchh as a tourist destination. The present Hon’ble CM

of Gujarat, Smt. Anandiben Patel is ensuring

that benefits of the industrial and service sectors growth

reach to the poorest of the poor.

C.J.Patel has resumed his duty as District Development

Officer, Kachchh in February 2015.

After the Earthquake in 2001 the district panchayat

administration was having some protective orthodox

approach. District Development Officer immediately

realized the problem of red-tape and decided to

overcome the same, and started following actions. 5

Empowering Block and District administration-

Kachchh” concept-

Created Whatsapp group of Team-Kachchh Panchayat,

and Passed the instruction on groups and get response

soon.

Strengthening and modernizing panchayat offices-

The new building of Kachchh district panchayat was

built after earthquake. Due to largest area of Kachchh

district, people come from various remote block, it just

like from 150 and above km.”. For the villagers, we have

facilitate the fully air-conditioned Nagrik Suvidha Kendra

with the facilities of cold drinking water, modernized sitting,

information materials of various development scheme as a

reading material as well as on TV, Mobile charger box etc.. 6

Action taken Regarding Soil health New Efforts in Agriculture Sector (SHARP Software)

Introduction:

Kachchh District – Largest District in India. It has 10 Taluka having 2.11 Lakh Farmers

with 8.02 Lakh hectare cultivable land.

Soil Health Card program was started from 2003, it has covered 3.7 Lakh Farmers of

Kachchh district in two phases. ( First Phase 2003 to 2010 and Second Phase 2011 to 2016)

The farmers of Kachchh are applying the nutrient through fertilizer which were shown in

Soil Health Card and improved soil Health of those areas.

SHARP Software was developed in Gujarati and English for better understandings of Soil

Health Card in the form of prescription as like as given by doctor to his/her patient.

What is SHARP

Computer operated software can be assessed at www.sharpagriKachchh.com and

used by Farmers.

In this software soil analysis result as per Soil Health Card were inserted in the

sequence and enter crop (which were grown by farmers) and Fertilizer (which

were available in the market) by the farmer.

It will be generating the quantity of Fertilizer as per the recommendation for the

all 16 essential nutrients for specific crop out of 97 crops.

Reports will be generated in the prescription form.

Prescription Recommended quantity of FYM, Lime/Gypsum as well as nutrient

containing Fertilizer which is applied as basal dose and Top dressing with General

Fertilizer Recommendation. 9

• Easy to the selection of crop on the basis of soil health.

• Easy to calculate quantity of alternative Chemical Fertilizer for 97 Crops.

• Reduces cost of cultivation by using fertilizer as per recommendations.

• Easy to apply different combination of fertilizer. • Easy to reclamation of soil. • Promoting farmers to Scientific Agriculture as well as Modernize Agriculture.

Smart Class is a Class where computer, multimedia device, digital board and other facilities come together and facilitate the teacher in teaching as well as students in their learning. It makes learning fun and increases interest of students in the learning process whereby reducing the dropout ratio.

International for CAL (Computer Aided Learning ) under

Real Time Tracking Application -Web is Watching

What is it?

It is a website + android app which ensures that teachers

and students are present at school at specific time.

How it works ?

The principal will be given a username (dies code) and a password.

He/She has to upload real-time photographs of teachers three

times every day.

1) Between 11 am to 11:30 am

2) Between 2 pm to 2:30 pm

3) Between 5 pm to 5:30 pm

How Tracking will be done The Application will generate a report of the schools which has not submitted the

photographs.

Actions can be taken on such principals. It is real-time photographs… means no previous photos can be uploaded + GPS

will show the exact location of photos also.

If the photographs and school register details do not match, the principal will be

held responsible

Is real-time monitoring possible? Yes, District Panchayat officer can take report of schools not submitting photos any time

anywhere.

Audit of photos can be done anytime/ anywhere, like after a month or a year + at

school or at any office.

Office can appoint a person for continuous monitoring also. He/She will call all the

principals who has not submitted photos the same day for explanation.

What if the principal is not at school.

Any other person’s phone can be used for submitting photos.

The system is not Device Dependent. Only username and

password is necessary.
