SAFETYGeneral aviation is statistically safer than most forms of travel and the USAF Flight Training Centers are significantly safer than those of civil aviation as a whole. Safety is our No.1 concern. The Aero Club holds mandatory, monthly safety meetings, and our aircraft are well maintained by our maintenance personnel. We will be happy to share our safety record with you.

CADET DISCOUNTUSAF Academy Cadets and Prep School Students save $10 per hour on dual flights.

TRAINING◊ All training is conducted by very experienced

FAA Certified Flight Instructors and is tailored to meet your needs.

◊ The Aero Club offers a variety of programs to meet everyone’s interests with everything from demo and introduction flights to instrument and CFI ratings. Our curriculum is designed to maximize your learning and ensure you are ready for each phase of training. This logical progression helps ensure you retain what you’ve learned and don’t have to repeat lessons. Additionally, the Federal Aviation Administration regularly inspects our instructors and maintenance staff to ensure the highest standards of training. All of this is designed to ensure your safety and success.

◊ Flight training is offered for a Private Pilot’s Certificate, Instrument Rating, Mountain Flying, CFI Rating, Orientation Flights, Commercial Pilot and IFS Jumpstart. Instruction is only $42/hour for all programs.

◊ Not all students progress at the same rate. How quickly one learns depends on such factors as time between lessons, previous experience and natural ability.

◊ If you want to experience the thrill of flight for yourself, come down for a discovery flight. We’ll take you up and actually let you fly the plane. It’s great fun and it’s only $175 your first time.
