NOTICE!External power supplyThe device is powered by an external power supply. Before connecting theexternal power supply, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches thevoltage rating of the device and that the AC outlet is protected by a residual cur‐rent circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and pos‐sibly the user.
Unplug the external power supply before electrical storms occur and when thedevice is unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric shock orfire.

4 Instructions for use
Unpack and carefully check that there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keepthe equipment packaging. To fully protect the device against vibration, dust and moistureduring transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging materialsuitable for transport or storage, respectively.
Handle the device with care.
Do not try to disassemble or repair the device yourself in the unlikely event that it does notwork.
Do not use solvents such as alcohol to clean the device.

1 Connector for an optional 9 V mains adaptor. If a 9 V mains adaptor is used, thebattery is automatically disconnected from the circuitry.
2 The LED "CHECK" lights up, when the acoustic simulator is active. If the LED is not litor just glowing low during operation, you have to replace the battery.
3 Use the MODE control to adjust the sound:
Position 1: Standard
Position 2: Enhanced
Position 3: Piezo
Position 4: Jumbo
4 The "BODY" control is used to setup the body resonance, adjusting how smoothand full it sounds.
5 Input socket for standard guitar cable with 1/4" jack.
6 Knurled-head screw to open the battery compartment. See details @ Ä ‘Changingthe battery’ on page 14.
7 The foot switch toggles the effect on / off.

8 Output socket: connect the output with a standard instrument cable to anothereffects pedal or an amp.
9 Output socket for electric guitar sound: connect the output with a standard instru‐ment cable to another effects pedal or an amp.
10 Use "TOP" control to adjust the treble, to control the harmonic content, and theresponse speed.
11 You can adjust the effects intensity with the "LEVEL" control.

Before installing or replacing the battery, turn off the unit.
1. Loosen the knurled-head screw (7) on the pedal to open it.
2. Take the 9 V battery out of the battery compartment (18) and pull off the battery clip(15) from the empty battery.
3. Put the battery clip (15) on the new battery (respecting the pole marking) and put it intothe battery compartment (18). Make sure that the battery cable (14) is not trapped in thecoil spring (13) or the pedal cover.
4. Press the coil spring (13) in the spring suspension (7) and close the pedal switch.
5. Guide the knurled-head screw through the feed hole and tighten the screw securely.

Please note the following:
1. When you connect an instrument to the input socket, the acoustic simulator is automati‐cally switched on. Therefore please disconnect the input cable from the socket, whenthe unit is not going to be used. This will save your battery's power.
2. Set the amp volume to minimum before you plug an instrument cable in or out.
3. When using a guitar with high output level, the sound may get distorted. If so, reducethe volume of the guitar.

8 Protecting the environment
For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly materials have beenchosen that can be supplied to normal recycling.
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of.
Do not just dispose these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure thatthey are fed to a recovery. Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging.
Batteries must not be disposed of as domestic waste or thrown into fire. Dispose of the bat‐teries according to national or local regulations regarding hazardous waste. To protect theenvironment, dispose of empty batteries at your retail store or at appropriate collection sites.
