Research motiveCars and planes play an

important role.In order to know the effect

of wind flow has on the object.

DC-type wind tunnelAdvantages・ Simple structure (low cost) ・ Performance and high rectification・ Can be miniaturized

Drawbacks・ Susceptible to effects from the outside

Circulation type wind tunnel

Advantages・ Less susceptible to external・ Energy Conservation

Drawbacks・ Complex structure (high-cost)

Effect of Rectifier on wind speedWhen there is not a rectifier

→Scattered by the wind measurement location

When there is a rectifier

→Wind speed is slower and stable

Considerations of Experiment 1

Blowing → Wind speed is unstable

Inhaling → Relatively stable

We chose to use the inhaling method.

Videos of the wing model

Page 17: Aburaya Narimasa Ogawa Tsukasa Kita Hiroki Takeuchi Yoshiki

Consideration of Experiment 2

We have confirmed the effect of laminar flow by rectifier.

Wind flow is flowing along the objects.

We have found the wind that was peeling at the rear of the wing.

Page 18: Aburaya Narimasa Ogawa Tsukasa Kita Hiroki Takeuchi Yoshiki

Experiment 3 Why float the wing?

Page 19: Aburaya Narimasa Ogawa Tsukasa Kita Hiroki Takeuchi Yoshiki

PredictionWind speed difference is born from the difference in distance above and below the wing

Measuring method

Page 22: Aburaya Narimasa Ogawa Tsukasa Kita Hiroki Takeuchi Yoshiki

Considerations of Experiment 3

There is a possibility that the wind speed difference causes wings to fly.
