What I have decided for my group

Characters.

• Abul and Mahir- is motivated by thinking about money. The personality of both us , is heartless and all we care about is making money. I will try make my money buy hustling and mahir will try sell drugs.

• Hamza is the religious guy and our friend. He's personality is being polite , smart and respectful.

• Bilal is a new guy who just migrated in to the country. He's personality is more on looking up towards us.

• We call the film opening “Joy ride”

• The genre of our film opening is going to be comedy but mostly action dramatic.

• The action is going to be caused mostly by me and mahir

• The comedy will be caused by Hamza and Bilal.

The plot ( first idea)• The film will start of with a title called the click.

Then there will be 4 split screen of us four , doing our every day business• The first scene is going to be Hamza getting shot and he dies• then the title will be done with silly pictures of us 4 in secondary. And on the title it

will have the characters name and directors, camera man etc… but in the pictures our personality will be described

• After that there will be four split screen of us 4 doing our regular business• It screens going to zoom into mahir and then mahir will call me and me and mahir will

link up and call up Hamza and Bilal.• Next scene will be Hamza talking to us and telling us he's busy .• So me and Bilal and mahir will back chat and create a comedy genre there• Couple of hours later all the boys are at mahirs house and then Hamza comes with he's

new friends tell everyone to come to the mosque , but however he just showed he's new friends what we get up to and in that thought we as a gang thought that he's new friends will tell the police

• Then we decide to kill him • We get a bottle and spin it , and where ever the bottle stops they have to be the killer

but identity is now shown• Someone gets the gun and get ready to kill hamza.• We decided not to do this is because it turn out mostly like a film other than a film

opening ,more over it wil exceed our time limits.

Joy ride

• Title-Joy ride:• Mahir gets into the car , A customer comes, they try talk to

mahir but he's not concentrating he's thinking about Hamza changing.

• sits down looks at Hamza going in to the mosque. mahir and mizan drives of . It fades in and then the next scene is when mahir pulls up to abul and Bilal and we get in the car .

• After abul and Bilal gets into the car we go back and pick up Hamza

• Hamza gets into the car , we start messing about , Hamza says stuff that he isn't meant to , therefore a serious planning goes down.

How far have you got with….

• Plotline- we have come up with a plotline after coming up with several plotlines we have chosen our final one – Joy Ride (Mahir and Abul)

• Settings, props, locations – the setting of the opening is Salmon Lane. We have chosen this location because it suites our filming perfectly as there is a mosque across the road. The props we will have is a car. (mahir)

• Costumes- Abul, Mizan and Mahir wearing street clothing e.g.. hoodies and caps. Bilal trying to fit in to be looking cool but is abit off e.g. shirt tracksuit bottoms and shoes. Hamza in religious clothing. (abul)

• Actors and characters – Actors – 5 boys Mahir – leader Mizan – mahirs right hand man, Abul and Bilal are his close friends. Hamza is a friend who has chosen to go towards a new path.

• Script – (Bilal’s responsibility so far not done) • Storyboard (Hama's responsibility. So far not done)

What problems might you encounter?

• The first problem is Snow, therefore recording outdoors may be difficult.

• We need to sort out a day and a time , so that we can record ,and the weather does not effect us

• Some of the group members may not be available on a certain day

• Lighting, because it may become dark while we are recording , therefore the lighting will be different.

• This has been done by abul and mahir , so far

What we still need to do

• Hamza and Bilal needs to finish of the script and story board.

• Decide when every one is free and set a day and a time.

• Get the costumes ready , therefore Hamza and Bilal has to prepare there cloths.

• Decide who will record for us

Costumes

• Me and mahir will basically dress normal , street clothing, e.g. hoddies , caps ,and some bling's and chains.

• Hamza will dress , with a thub and a hat(Islamic clothing)

• Bilal has to look like a freshy , therefore he will dress with a shirt, tracksuit, and shoes.

Settings, props, locations

• We have set the film around salmon lane because it suites us perfectly we need a mosque where hamza will be going into which is accross the road. There is also a carparkthere where we can go and film while we are sitting in the car. (done by mahir)
