OFFSHORE AND ONSHORE PIPE MARKING

ABT is an experienced supplier of pipe marking systems and solutions for the Oil & Gas industry.

ABT introduced in 1994 a high quality marking system for the offshore industry as from then have been implemented as the main system for the majority of Norwegian offshore installations and onshore plants.

We offer engineering, manufacturing, installation and supervision, this supported by experienced and skilled personnel educated and trained to meet the petroleum laws and regulations relating to HSE.

ABT quality system meets the requirements in ISO 9001 and we give high attention to ensure the marking are according to applicable International/National standards and Companies project specific requirements.

General

STRAPPINGSigns fastened by use of plastic coated AISI 316 bands with robust lockings. The underside of the band are grooved in order to avoid corrosion (pitting).

PROTECTIONAdditional protection of the marker with use of UV-resistant plexiglass.

ALUMINUM QUALITYThe mounting bracket is manufactured in anodized, saltwater resistant aluminum.

READEABILITYHigh readeability due to the flat surface area.

FLEXIBILITYThe sign are manufactured with right flow direction on one side and left direction on the opposite side to give full flexibility.

DESIGNThe aluminum brackets are designed such that the contact area between the bracket and the pipe isminimized in order to void corrosion (pitting).

TEMPERATUREThe aluminum signs and band have a high temperaue resistance.

ABT TAPE MARKING SYSTEM

Tape marking system are typically used inside Living Quarters and administration buildings where the environmental conditions are good.

The system consists if two components:

Film : PVC with UV-resistant colour printed on the film with transparent arrows.

Text : printed on strong PVC-labels and placed behind the transparent arrows of the tape.

We supply of all kinds of laser engraved valve- and equipment tags in stainless steel or plastic with texts and colours in accordance with customers requirement.

Valve tags are typically fastened by use of plastic covered stainless steel band or stainless steel wire.

ABT delivers high quality AISI 316 plastic coated fixing bands/strappings.

ABT- STD-012Standard ½” PVC covered AISI 316 band.

ABT-PRO-012PVC covered AISI 316 band (½”) where the underside of the band is grooved in order to reduce potential corrosion (pitting) on clean stainless steel piping. This underside do also prevent movement and will not slacken after being fixed in position.

ABT-STD-008 PVC covered AISI 316 (8mm) band for fastening of smaller brackets, typically used for size 0 pipe markers.

FIXING BAND / STRAPPING

Qualified in the Achilles Joint Qualification System for suppliers to the Oil Industry in Norway and Denmark (Achilles ID. 23297).
