ABSTRACT Mobility vehicle on the highway is a process that requires a
control system traffic movement. The time delay is owned by the existing
traffic light system is currently only controls the lights based on a timer
set. So the traffic lights still work appropriate time schedule. This leads
to less effective. Therefore made a traffic light control system in which a
long time at traffic lights can be set using the android controlled by
traffic police wirelessly, with the aim to facilitate the work of the traffic
police in regulating kepadan in road traffic light. The working principle of this system is when there is an
increase in the volume of vehicles at traffic lights, the traffic police
enough time to change the lamp used in cell phone applications andoid.
This tool uses a microcontroller arduino uno R3, the input power supply
9 volt and 5 volt. While the output is connected to a Bluetooth
connection HC05 series and relay driver circuit to activate the traffic
light. Progam traffic lights are controlled by the application in android
phone using the app inventor. Bluetooth communication distance that
can be done to send and receive data as far as 12 ± 1 meter. RTC which
used to be a reference to time shedule traffic lights. Error to result from
the voltage remove the Power Supply 5volt of 0.10 to 0.12 volts and the power supply 9 volts at 0 volts. The addition of delay time with app
inventor both units as well as dozens of well received with a percentage
error of 0%.
