THE ORDERLY ADMINISTRATION OF STANDARDIZATION OF

TOPOGRAPHICAL NAMES IN BANDAR LAMPUNG STUDIES IN

BANDAR LAMPUNG GOVERNMENT OFFICE SUBSECTIONS OF THE

VILLAGE GOVERNMENT

Standardization of topographical names is the process determining the name of a

part of the earth’s surface that can be recognized identity as natural elements by

default are set by regulatory authorities both nasionally and internationally. The

standardization in fact there are some areas that haven’t standardized resulting

inequality in the administration.

The purpose of this study was to describe the orderly administration of

standardization of topographical names in Bandar Lampung. The research method

used is descriptive qualitative with taking informants consisting of the

dictricts/villages part of government official subsection village government.

The result showed: That the activities aren’t carried out planning, Organizing in a

complex division of labor, Mobilization or unbalanced motivation, Supervision

isn’t always done in the activity, as well as the assessment of the work is rarely

given.
