WEB DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

ABSTARCT OUTLINEThe main idea of the project is to create a new portfolio website for DesigNNish with a USP(Unique selling point) such as like offer packages covering website and graphic design services.

DesigNNish is an already existing freelance web and graphic design business that doesn’t exist a Portfolio and offers (USP) page. Designnish.co.uk will focus on small and medium business owners around Leicester and Leicestershire as their Targeting audients.

Targeting AudientsAs a graphic design and web design company, DesigNNish’s targeting customers are small and medium business owners

For the first couple of years will focus on small and medium business people then will extend the targeting for big companies and government bodies.

Because, They are easy to dealing with and they are on a stage of developing their business.

PROJECT AIMS AND PURPOSEThe purpose of this project is to create a mobile and PC /Mac friendly new responsive website design using the advanced multimedia techniques with valuable contents including the business keywords, description to improve the users access and traffic of the website to increase the online customers and sales. Also according to USP at least one clients website.

DELIVERY METHODOLOGYThe web site is going to create in Photoshop as a PSD Template then it will be developing through Html CSS as necessary. The new web sites design going to be much different to old website. The contents like icons, buttons, navigation and colors will be a fresh unique design. After creating the layout, seo contents like keyword, descriptions multimedia images etc. will be add to the site. Moreover it’s going to be a Responsive design using css media technics.

The web site will be developing in dream viewer using html and css. All pages will be coded to XHTML 1.0 Transitional standards, and validated by the W3C Markup Validation Service (http://validator.w3.org/)

When you click the portfolio image on gallery it will show the image bigger with project description. For the preview the images light box, fancy box or a similar plugins will be use.

DELIVERY METHODOLOGYThe plan is not to make any New Logo at the minute as DesigNNish already exist a Logo / branding and identity. Will use the old logo as it is, but its necessary to gives a little touch up on the logo to match the website design, header and template.

DELIVERY METHODOLOGYOn line marketing is basically to increasing the website access and traffic for increasing the online sales. After creating the web sites and contents, the web site will be listed in all kind of creative industry listings, directories and freelance database and community listing sites. Especially for the online marketing DesigNNish doesn’t go for the pay services it will just go for the free on line listings because of financial situation. But it will take all the advantages like Facebook, twitter, linked inn and pinterst etc. to marketing it free through friend, family and social groups in social media.

The web site will be registered in Google places and index and it’s maintained and looks after through some web master tools like Google analytics and Webmaster. Also it will be listed in other popular search engines like yahoo and Bing etc.

Copyright and RegistrationDesigNNish will protect the branding and logo including the domain. Once studies completed. After completing the BA DesigNNish will register as a limited company in company house as well.

TIMESCALE & BUDJET Timescale:From the sketching works to publish the web site all the process will be started just before Christmas time. The completed timescale of the project as follows:

BUDJET:The making of the website cost like design and development will not Cost at all but for hosting and publishing its going to cost around £100 for three years including one year domain fees. Each year have to pay ca. £20 for renew it. For Marketing purpose such as business card and leaflet printing include some pay per click advert will cost together around £150 for the first year.
