    It is not ified for general information of all the concerned that th e B.E. in MechanicalEngineering and M -Tech. in CAD/CAM and Heat Power Engineering student s who w ere admittedin th is College prio r to grant of Autonomy and pursuing th e course as per Rashtrasa nt TukadojiM aharaj Nagpur University , Na gpur scheme and could no t clear the subjects of the above saidcourses as per R.T.M . Nagpur University, Nagpur schem e within the give n point of tim e limit asstated in our earlier Notification No. GHRCE/Autonomy/ ACAD/2010-2011/176 Dated25/09/2010 and further stated below in Para 1 shall then be absorbed in the new B.E. inMechanical En gineering and M-Tech. in CAD/CAM and Hea t Power En ginee ring course as perG.H.Raisoni College of Engineering Scheme and Syllabus und er Autonomous statu s introduce dfrom the academic session 2010-111. Since the last chance of I" year B.E (U.G) and 1t and lind Sem este r (P.G) courses as per R.T.M

    Nagpur University Scheme were ex hausted in Winter 2011 , the Academic Council ofG.H.Raisoni College of Engineering in its meeting held on 01 .03 .201 2 given one moreadditional chance of Summer 2012 to first year a.E. (U .G.) and I'c and lind Semes t ers of P.G.students to appear in Examinat ions as per scheme and ordinance of R.T.M . NagpurUniversity.

    2. Academic Council in its same meeti ng dated 01.03.2012, approved the enclosed equiva lenceand absorption scheme considering the (ecommendations of Board of St udies ot res pec tivedepartments with incorporating fo llow in g points:

    a) Students absorbed in Autonomous course shall required t o cl ear some add it iona l subjectswhich are already covered in ea rli er semes ters; as Audit Course.

    b) Audit courses shall be offered as per th e approva l of res pective Board of Studies.c} Students must acquire minimum pass grade in each audit course and they have to clear

    such courses before 8 th Semes t er.d) For Students who are admitted in respective ordina nce, same ordinance shall be fo llowed

    fo r calculation of CGPA for award of th eir degree. Fo r Engineering Students adm itted inOrdinance having degree to be award ed on las t 4 semes ters th eir CGPA wil l be calculated

    to 8thfrom 5th semest er. If such students are absorbed in or aft er 6th se mes te r t heirprevious semester marks will be converte d to CGPA based on abso lute grading and degree

    8t hwil l be award ed by ca lcu lating CG PA from 5t h to se mes ter. Ho wever, studentsadmitted in the Ordin ance of degree base d on las t 2 se mes ter (Stud ents admitted before2004) their CGPA will be calcu lat ed for i h& 8th se mes ter only.

    e) Students who are abso rbe d in 4ch se mes t er w ill have to clear th e audit courses of 3'dse mester during 5th semester .

    f} Stude nts abso rbed in Slh semester will have t o clea r th e audit courses of 3'd semesterduring 5th semestef and audit cours es of 4Ch se mester during 6Ch se mes ter.
