absintheverte
REAL ABSINTHE: NO ARTIFICIAL INGREDIENTS, NO GIMMICKSMade from wormwood, fennel, star anise, and a host of other botanical
ingredients in a base of fine brandy, St. George Absinthe Verte is an all-natural expression of this beguiling and high spirituous elixir.
YOU WON'T HALLUCINATE, BUT YOU MIGHT FALL IN LOVEEveryone else has. From its “sweet floral nose” (Bon Appetit) to its
“robust flavor” (Salon) and “balanced, complex finish” (Imbibe), critics agree that St. George Absinthe Verte is “compelling” (7x7)
and that “Toulouse-Lautrec would be proud.” (Grub Street).
THE PINNACLE OF THE DISTILLER'S ART FORMSo says distiller Lance Winters. Why? Because creating a beautiful absinthe means taking a number of loud botanical ingredients and making them sing
in harmony. When done right, the result is a heady, herbaceous smack tothe senses, with tongue-tingling lushness and spectacular depth of flavor.
Established in 1982, St. George Spirits has been deemed “iconic” by F. Paul Pacult’s Spirit Journal and “a leading light in the American artisanal spirits movement” by Malt Advocate. Over three decades at the vanguard of the American craft spirits revolution, we have earned respect and critical acclaim in the industry for creating the Hangar One line of vodkas and maintaining a portfolio of distinctive and award-winning spirits that includes St. George Single Malt Whiskey; St. George Absinthe Verte; St. George Brandies and Liqueurs; St. George California Agricole Rum; Terroir, Botanivore, and Dry Rye Gin; and Breaking & Entering Bourbon.

Opens with spicy black licorice, and then slowly evolves into citrus and grassy profiles with a dose of sarsaparilla. Because of the abundance of essential oils,
it’s rich and viscous on the palate, even at 120 proof.
FOR THE ULTIMATE ABSINTHE EXPERIENCE...Savor St. George Absinthe Verte over a large ice cube. As the ice melts, it will unveil layersof vivid flavor and elicit a lovely louche (milky cloudiness) that seems to glow from within.
NO SUGAR NEEDEDSt. George Absinthe Verte has a natural sweetness that comes from its botanical ingredients. Adding sugar only masks the nuances of flavor contributed by the mint, tarragon, fennel, and other botanicals. We developed our formulation for St. George Absinthe Verte over
years of patient experimentation—and we think it’s perfect on its own.
