About Us Summit-Nitro was established in 1993. It was created to be an elite volleyball club that would not only teach young athletes the intricacies of volleyball but also teach life skills. The life skills include leadership, dedication, and hard work. Club Sports of North Texas, Inc., dba Summit-Nitro Volleyball Club is a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation dedicated to the growth of youth volleyball in the North Texas area. SNVC has been very successful over the past 23 years. The organization has qualified over 30 Open, National, American & USA teams for the National Tournament in our storied history, in 7 different age divisions.

Our Purpose To provide a vehicle for youth female athletes to participate in competitive volleyball, while instilling values of good sportsmanship, cooperation, self-discipline, and confidence. Our Vision To become the most relevant and respected club, not only in Dallas-Fort Worth but in the country. SNVC seeks to set forth a strategic plan for achieving success based on the core values of our mission statement. We strive to create a model that will be duplicated by other clubs around the country who also wish to provide quality and value to their players and families. We will never lose sight of why we are here.

Team Levels SNVC National Travel Teams Team Dues: $3990 Our National teams will play in 10-11 tournaments, including two National Qualifiers, Tour of Texas, and one to two travel tournaments. Each team’s travel tournament schedule varies by age. National teams will practice 2-3 nights per week at VIP or SNA or both locations. SNVC Elite Teams Team Dues: $2990 Our Elite teams will play in 9-10 tournaments, including Lone Star, Shreveport, Tulsa and the Regional tournament. All of our Elite teams will play the same schedule regardless of age. Elite teams will practice 2 times per week one week day and a Sunday at VIP or SNA locations.

2016-2017 **Tentative** SNVC Volleyball Schedule

Positional Skill Clinics SNVC will be offering positional skills clinics on Friday’s prior to Qualifier season. These clinics are included in the dues for our National teams. Elite and Metro team players can attended for an additional cost.

Additional Skill Clinics SNVC will also be offering additional skills clinics throughout the 2016-17 season. All players are welcome to attended these for an additional cost. Dates and times will vary throughout the season.

Summit-Nitro Dues What is included in Player dues? Player membership fees include but are not limited to: Coaching Salaries, Facility Rental, Registration, Equipment and Supplies, Tournament Entry Fees, Coaches Travel Expenses Score and Referee Clinics, Friday Skill Clinics, Summit-Nitro Car decal, National, Elite, Select & Metro Team Uniform Packages. GJNC Nationals are in Indianapolis and AAU’s Nationals are in Orlando. Neither event are included in your team dues.

Tryouts All of our tryouts will be held at The Volleyball Institute of Plano (VIP). The following steps need to be completed in order to register and tryout for Summit-Nitro Volleyball (SNVC) for the 2015-2016 season. Please start on number one below to begin the tryout registration process. If you have registered with us before, you will only need to update your information. If you cannot remember your password, we can email it to you at the address you submitted last year. If you have not registered with us before you will be shown the instructions to do so by clicking on the register link.

Tryouts cont’d 1. Register Here and pay online or bring a check for $50.00* PASSWORD IS THE FAMILY PASSWORD PROVIDED, TYPICALLY PARENT EMAIL ADDRESS. 2. Register with the North Texas Region of USA Volleyball 3. Bring your Medical Release form USA Volleyball Junior Player Age Definition. *Please note that tryout fees are NOT refundable and are not part of the Incentive program.

How to Navigate the Tryout Process q Registration q Register Online at summitvolleyball.com q If you want to tryout for a top team, please make all efforts to attend the Primary tryout. q You will have the option to pick: Top team only, Addison area team, Plano area team, or All of the above q If you have preference those may be indicated in the comments section

q Make sure you have a plan q Know who will be your 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice q We will email our offers out q We will invite all kids back q Some offers will be sent right away after the first tryout MOST will not q Just because you have not received an offer immediately from us DOES NOT mean that we are not interested q If you have a conflict email andysummit@yahoo.com (other tryouts do not constitute a conflict however)

q Be honest with all clubs q Tell them if they are a 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice for you q Attend the tryout of your first club first and then attend your other choices

q If you receive an offer from your first choice take it right away and let the other clubs know ASAP q If you don’t you are holding up offers for other players that could use that offer

q Don’t let clubs trick/force you into taking an offer q If you get pressured to take an offer within the 24 waiting period please notify the region immediately
