Our company commenced opera-tions in 1985 in the USA as Glass Dy-namics Inc. in single manufacturing facility in Stoneville (USA) and in 1991 Poland as Press Glass, with glass units manufactured on a single line. Back then our core market was window frame manufacturers. Within the next ten years, we established our position as the leading Polish producer of in-sulating glass units.

In 2001 we embarked on sales to other countries and started to bu-ild additional plants in Poland. We also expanded our product offering

In order to mitigate environmen-tal impact, we make modifications to product manufacturing and to our habits. In order to facilitate the process, we have adopted the global system of actions protect-ing the environment ISO 14001. Plants working under the PRESS GLASS brand operate based on en-vironmental management system ISO 14001.By implementing the ISO 14001 system, we contribute to activities supporting environmental protec-tion that are now in excess of the requirements of law in number of

countries:– we segregate waste to enable

safe disposal or recovery of such waste

– we reduce consumption of natu-ral resources

– we prevent any penetration of haz-ardous liquids to soil and water

– our Customers get products that are not burdensome to the envi-ronment

– we improve the image of our Customers

For few years now we have also joined the "resources SAVED" pro-

gramme intended to protect natu-ral resources by recycling. We have managed to save a total of over 1,660,000 lb of natural resources and reduce emission of green-house gases by over 306,000 lb within the programme so far.

Paper has always been and will al-ways be a vital aspect of project and marketing activities. The selection of paper produced in accordance with sustainable development and environmental protection (FSC cer-tificates) and/or recycled paper is becoming a key issue.
