Allied Concrete was founded in 1945 as Allied Supply Company by Wilson McNeely, a 1943 graduate of the School of Architecture at The University of Virginia. In the beginning, Allied Supply Company manufactured concrete block, done manually using wooden molds.
Sixty-five years later, Allied Concrete is still locally owned and has grown to be the premier manufacturer and supplier of a complete range of concrete products, brick, hardscapes, block and other building supplies to contractors and home- owners with multiple locations in Central Virginia.
Allied Concrete Company is committed to providing the most environmentally conscious products available. Four of our products have been certified Cradle to Cradle Silver and one of them, Cradle to Cradle Gold.

Hardscapes Hardscapes is a term used to describe several different types of stone landscaping. Areas like walkways, patios, driveways, and pool decks are constructed using materials like concrete pavers, natural stone, manufactured stone, and retaining walls.
Concrete Pavers and Retaining Walls: Allied stocks concrete pavers and retaining walls manufactured by Eagle Bay, Belgard, and Cambridge.
Natural Stone: Our natural stone is carefully chosen to provide our clients with a range of colors and shapes. Allied’s wide inventory can be used to match existing landscape or as the basis for new landscaping. We stock everything from traditional 4- 6 building stone to Pennsylvania bluestone flagging.
Allied Concrete is pleased to offer a beautiful natural stone veneer product called RealStone Veneer™. This is the real thing; actual stone that is sorted or cut to a thickness of less than two inches. RealStone Veneer™ can be installed on almost any interior or exterior project, and at a reduced cost. Installation of RealStone Veneer™ costs no more than installing manufactured stone veneers.
Manufactured stone veneer: Manufactured stone veneer has the rustic appeal of natural stone. Consider manufactured stone for a foundation wall or warm up a room with a manufactured stone veneer fireplace. Allied is proud to stock El Dorado and Stonecraft manufactured stone.
Redi-Rock: Allied Concrete is Central Virginia’s exclusive manufacturer and distributor of Redi-Rock retaining wall systems. Allied Concrete’s on-site manufacturing allows strict control and quality adherence in the production of Redi-Rock. We produce base, wall, and top units to allow complete construction of walls. The strength and mass of the Redi-Rock system allows heights of 15 without geo-grid. Each block weighs up to 2,400 pounds, creating a highly stable environment.

Masonry CMU’s: Concrete Block is one of the most enduring concrete products. Most identifiable as the block that is used to lay building foundations, it has many more looks and uses today. It can be patterned to look like brick or split face rock offering a cost-effective alternative for traditional brick and stone.
Allied offers a broad range of sizes (2 to 14) and shapes of concrete block for use in residential and commercial structures including concrete brick, split face, embossed brick-faced block, and chimney block. Allied can also help you estimate the type and quantity of block needed for your project, and the volume of concrete fill needed to fill core voids in block.

Clay Brick: With three showrooms full of samples and an outside sales team that can help you match existing brick, we are sure to have what you are looking for.
Allied is proud to stock brick from the following manufacturers: General Shale, Old Virginia Brick, Nash Brick, Glen Gery, Pine Hall, and Old Carolina.
Allied Concrete manufactures a wide-range of specialty concrete mixes from hi-strength structural concrete to specialty lightweight topping slab mixes. Each mix represents a custom formula; specially engineered for each application and project.
Allied works closely with architects and building professionals to ensure that the mix design meets the desired specifications for each project.
Our ready-mix concrete can also be modified to offer a variety of decorative looks by adding color or exposed aggregate.
With 9 locations and over 75 trucks, we are well equipped to handle any size job.
