Detailed Itinerary

DAY 01; ARRIVE DELHI

Arrive Delhi international airport by flight. Meet with our office representative assistance and

transfer to hotel. Hotel check in/ out time 1200hrs afternoon early check in subject to room

availability). Rest time free and easy to relax & personal activities. Vehicle will be provided if time

permit for visiting any pot of your interest or going out for dinner/ movie etc. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 02; DELHI

Breakfast at hotel. Full day city tour of Delhi visit Red

Fort the residence of the Mughal emperor for nearly

200 years, until 1857. Cycle rickshaw ride in Chandni

Chowk Bazar. Visit Jama Masjid (Mosque) opposite the


fort one of the largest mosques in the world, built by Shah Jahan. Raj Gath: The memorial of

Mahatma Gandhi where he was cremated after his assassination. India Gate: The 42m high stone

"Arch of Triumph", erected in the memory of Indian soldiers who died in the First World War;

Drive through Rajpath "Kingsway" a VVIP area of Delhi including Rashtrapati Bhawan. Humayun’s

Tomb: Build by wife of Humayun, the second mughal king. It is an early example of Mughal

architecture. Qutab Minar: The building complex dated back on the onset of Muslim rule in India

and are fine examples of Afghan architecture. Lotus Temple: In the heart of New Delhi, the

bustling capital of India, a lotus-shaped outline has etched itself on the consciousness of the city's

inhabitants, capturing their imagination, fuelling their curiosity, and revolutionizing the concept of

worship. [Red Fort & Lotus Temple remain closed on Monday's].

DAY 03; DELHI – AGRA (204KMS/ 4HRS APPROX)

Breakfast at hotel, drive to Agra, check in at hotel.

Afternoon visit Taj Mahal: One of the Seven Wonder of the World was built by Shah Jahan in

1631 AD and was completed in 1651. This symbol of

love was built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Described as the most extravagant monument ever

built for love. It was constructed by Mughal

Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen

Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22

years to complete. Ustad Ahamad Lahori, a Parsian

Architect, is said to be the main designer and

planer of this magnificent memorial. On full moon

night, the glory of the Taj is at its best. (Taj

Mahal remain closed on every Friday)

Agra Fort: build by the famed Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565AD, the fort is predominantly of red

sandstone. Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River

was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson,

Shah Jahan region it has partially become Palace. The fort presents a good sampling of their

favoured architectural styles. Akbar drew on Islamic and Hindu traditions and the result is eclectic.

By Shah Jahan's time the style had become so homogenized that it is impossible to separate the

Hindu and Muslim strands. The Diwan-I-Am (public audience hall) the beautiful Diwan-I-Khas

(private audience hall) were also added by Shah Jahan.

AItmad-ud-daulah's Tomb; Built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father,

boasts of marble trellis work and inlaid with-precious stones, this mausoleum on the opposite bank

of the Yamuna from the Taj, exhibits a strong Persian influence. Itmad-ud-Daula often describe as


Jewel Box. The Tomb of Mir Ghias Beg, Vazir (minister) of Emperor Jahangir, was built between

1622 and 1628 from red sand stone with marble decorations as Akbars tomb in Sikendra in Agra.

Itmad-ud-daula has important place in history as well as architecture. This is actually the very first

tomb in India that is entirely made out of Marble. It is most important monument in Agra after Taj

Mahal and Agra fort. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 04; AGRA– FATEHPUR SIKRI – RANTHAMBORE (255KMS / 5HRS APPROX)

Breakfast at hotel drive to Ranthambore, en route visit to Fatehpur Sikri: built by Emperor Akbar

in 1569 and abandoned after 15 yrs. Due to scarcity of water. Predominately, a red sandstone

construction sprawling over a huge area, the architectural style is very much in tune with emperor’s

dream & partakes of both Hindu & Muslim styles. See the graceful buildings including Jama Masjid,

Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other places.

Continue drive to Ranthambore, check in at hotel. Later guided visit of Ranthambore Fort. The

majestic Ranthambore Fort, after which the park was named, is located atop a steep hill within the

reserve. This imposing structure offers spectacular views of the surrounding terrain, and is home

to three historic Hindu temples, honouring Ganesh, Shiva and Ramlalji. Trinetra Ganesh Temple;

devoted to Ganesh, the elephant-headed God of Good Fortune is located in Ranthambhore fort.

Temples dedicated to Ganesh are very famous as Shree Ganesh is the first to be worshipped

before beginning any new project or venture as the Vighnaharta, the destroyer of obstacles.

Wednesday is the main day of darshan and puja, but this temple is frequented by hundreds of

devotees everyday. Even the never-ending long hours of wait do not discourage the devotee from

seeking the blessing of Lord Ganesha. The beautiful Jogi Mahal, famous for being home to the

country's second largest Banyan tree, is situated on the banks of Padam Talao, the park's largest

lake. Lunch, dinner & overnight at hotel.

DAY 05; RANTHAMBORE

Breakfast at hotel, morning & afternoon safari in national park.

Spread over an area of nearly 392 sq km, the park is marked by

dense jungles, rocky ridges, meandering streams and lakes, and

deep gorges, all providing a fertile habitat to an extensive variety

of flora and fauna. The area's most scenic lake, however, is the

Rajabagh Talao. This popular watering hole is probably one of the

best places to see a tiger. Adding to the charm are the Raj Bagh Ruins with ancient pavilions,

domes, arches, steps and other stone structures. The smallest lake, Malik Talao, is a great place to

see migratory birds and crocodiles, while areas such as Lakarda and Anantpura, in the north and


north-western sections of the park, are good for seeing sloth bears. The heavily forested Bakuala

area features many small water bodies, and is one of the coldest areas of the park. Lunch, dinner &

overnight at hotel.

DAY 06; RANTHAMBORE – JAIPUR (145KMS/ 3HRS APPROX)

Breakfast at hotel, morning safari in national park. Afternoon drive to Jaipur check in at hotel. Rest

time free to relax and visit the local market. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07: JAIPUR

Breakfast at hotel, visit Amber Fort and enjoy Elephant Ride (upto the hills – at own expense).

Raja Man Singh the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army constructed the fortress palace in the end

of 16th century. Amber is superb example of Rajput architecture, situated on a hilltop, overlooking

a lake. Amber Fort is known for its unique artistic style, blending both Hindu and Muslim (Mughal)

elements, and its ornate and breathtaking artistic mastery. The fort borders the Maota Lake.

Jaigarh Fort or Fort of Victory considered to be one of the most well fortified structures in India.

The magnificent fort was constructed by Sawai Singh of Jaipur in 1726 in order to tighten the

security of Amber and Jaipur. Situated on the top of the hill the fort provides the stunning view of

the Jaipur town and magnificent amber fort. The main highlights of the fort are massive Cannon,

fortification, museum, palaces, temples and the magnificent water tanks. Jai Van is claimed to be

the largest cannon on wheels in the world. The length of the barrel of this cannon is 20 ft. 2 inches,

the diameter 8 ft. 7 inches and it weighs 50 tons. The range of the gun is 22 miles and it consumes

100kgs of gunpowder for every shot.

Afternoon city tour of Jaipur, the origins of the beautiful city of Jaipur can be traced back to the

eighteenth century, during the reign of Jai Singh II

who ascended the Amber throne in 1699. Jaipur today,

epitomizes the spirit of Rajputana. In-spite of growing

into a bustling metropolis, it still retains its character

and history - Beautiful fusion of the yesteryears and

modernity. Popularly known as the Pink City because of

the extensive use of the locally abundant pink

plastered stone, painted so in honor of the visit of the

royal consort of Queen Victoria Jaipur thrills the soul with its massive forts, magnificent palaces,

exquisite temples and lush gardens. Main tourist attractions of Jaipur are City Palace with its fine

collection of textiles, costumes and armory and the Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds. Maharaja

Jai Singh was a great astronomer of his time. He built here extraordinary (and very accurate)


stargazing Observatory here named as “Jantar Mantar”. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 08; JAIPUR –DELHI (265KMS/ 5HRS APPROX)

Breakfast at hotel, morning free for sightseeing afternoon drive to Delhi, direct transfer to

international airport to board flight for your onward destination.

Cancellation policy:

Note: Written cancellation will accept on all working days, except Sunday, Any cancellation sent on

Sunday's will be considered on next working day (Monday).

For the X-mas and new year period from 20 Dec to 05 Jan the payment is non-refundable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount

only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/

contractors we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed

meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.

Cancelation before 90 days – no cancelation fees only bank charges.

Cancelation before 89 - 60 days – 10% of the invoice plus bank charges.

Cancelation before 59 – 45 days - 25% of the invoice plus bank charges.



Cancelation before 7 days – Now show 100% of the invoice.

Please note that after the finalization of the Tour/ service Cost, if there are any Hike in entrance

fees of monuments / museums, Taxes, fuel cost or guide charges – by Govt of India, the same would

be charged as extra.

airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless

indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the program or expenses incurred –

directly or indirectly – due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of

machinery or equipment’s, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures

or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in

connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting – directly or

indirectly – from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment,

breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics,

medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft,

or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home

country. All baggage’s & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.

We will not be responsible for any costs arising out of unforeseen circumstances like landslides,

road blocks, bad weather, etc.

Tipping

Tipping is not included in our price. Tipping is optional, and at times expected in travel trade.

Obviously there is no limit to how much you can tip and some guests who enjoy and appreciate the


services of Guides, driver and other crew will and have tipped much more than our average tipping

guideline of about $10-15 per day.
