About the Energy Week

About Energy Week in Belgrade 2017 ENERGY WEEK is an unique, annual event and meeting place of the relevant stakeholders in the field of sustainable development. In the context of this event, it will be held numerous public meetings, conferences and workshops, which aim to involve and gather all generations. The focus at this gathering will be to raise public awareness of the many issues and challenges relating to energy security, energy resilience, energy efficiency, energy consumption, renewable energy and environmental protection as well as the presentation of new solutions and technologies.

The event ENERGY WEEK is registered on the official website of the European Commission as one of the events that will be organized during the EU Sustainable Energy Week, from 29 May to 2 June 2017 in Belgrade.

The concept of the Energy Week Program

Energy Week will gather representatives of relevant state institutions, universities and relevant scientific institutions, companies and manufacturers of advanced technologies, local governments, civil society, as well as representatives of the schools and the media during the 5 working days in early June.

Topics that will be covered Renewable energy, energy efficiency, resilience of cities, environmental protec-tion, sustainable development, oil, gas, transport and sustainable mobility, energy policy, energy security, education in the field of climate change, district heating, climate change, investment, Belgrade projects and projects of local municipalities.

Form of participation Conferences, lectures, public dialogues, workshops inside and outside, tours, B2B meetings, round table, exhibition in closed and open spaces, debates, demonstra-tion of new technologies, visit the technology manufacturers.
