About the Death Penalty The death penalty is a sentence given
to those who have committed a capital crime, such as murder. Not
all states provide the death penalty, much of the death penalty is
paid for by tax payers. In some states there is an age requirement
in order to apply the death penalty.

Pro Life Pro life is any person who is against the death
penalty. To be pro life means you believe that everyone has the
right to live regardless whether imprisoned or free.
Slide 3
Pro Life Tax Regardless whether pro life or pro death, money is
taken from the tax payers to fund the death penalty in states where
it is still allowed. Those who are pro life do not have much of a
choice where their tax money is spent
Slide 4
Why Pro Life? The death penalty does go against many religious
beliefs, because it is considered inhumane to lethally kill another
human being in America. The death penalty is also traumatizing to
the family of the executioner, the victim, and the jury. Causing
sickness and long-term effects.

Cons about the Death Penalty Maryland became the latest state
to outlaw capital punishment. Cost more to give the capital
punishment than to sentence life in prison. The executioner may be
exonerated, if it is not to late.
