Hello! My name is Litany but you can call me Lit. Inspired by activations within the San Antonio CVB and local media outlets, The Palacio Del Rio was able to take off with a weird idea and gained a reputation with the taco hungry traveler. Brand.com showcased retailing and special offers including taco pillows, socks and a special menu inspired by the tasty theme. Social Media activations included collaborative posts from local taco lovers through Facebook and Twitter. While the room bookings were minimal, the main KPIs were met by the hundreds of comments about taco love making this hotel the thought leader in foodie travel for San Antonio.

The campaign was created based off of a need period for San Antonio which is usually around the holidays. The concept was, “Whether home is here or away, call San Antonio home for the holidays.” and was targeted towards drive markets as well as locals putting family up in hotels for the holidays. Retailing, social media and brand newsletters were included in this campaign for additional impressions. The total campaign between three full service hotels generated 13 reservations, 21 room nights and over $3k in revenue in just 2 months.

The Texas Summer Sale was created to localize and compliment the Big World Sale. My assistance was requested to help strategize execution for the San Antonio market. I created a custom destination page to promote tourism with a call to action to book via dynamic landing page for the market. Retailing, social media and brand newsletters all highlighted the campaign. The Texas Summer Sale generated 6k reservations, 11k room nights and $1.1M in revenue for the San Antonio Market.

In celebration of the new $14 million renovated event space, the Renaissance Dallas Hotel created a campaign to give away a wedding worth $100,000. The campaign includes a blog and an interactive Facebook application that will allow fans to vote on their favorite couple and eventually plan the entire wedding. 14 entries were submitted with 6 finalists and ultimately one winning couple by public vote on multiple social media channels.

Miraval Resort is a resort and spa that specializes in renovating the mind, body and soul through a unique offering of activities that are therapeutic. The “Mindful Giving” contest was a request to create a holiday giveaway that would resonate with their audience. Inspirational quotes are the most shared content on all of their social channels so we used Miraval branded images with quotes and a Mindful Giving logo overlay to promote the contest. Promotion was across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and the blog. The contest generated 2,000 entries and an additional 3,000 fans across all social media channels.

Event Cinemas is the largest cinema chain in Australia with over 150 local cinemas under the brand. In 2011 I started writing content for the main Facebook Page with 60,000 fans. I coordinated consistent branding, paid media, weekly content tracking and contests across all branded and local market channels along with 9 product pages and a total of 800,000 fans. Along the way I picked up 4 awards for receiving a 3:1 ROI on a Movie Marathons campaign, best Facebook Page for Event Cinemas and a Frozen Coke contest that had thousands of Australians creating their own flavors of frozen Coke.

I have created global branding guides and internal processes as resources for Hilton, client and agency. This includes a branded asset guide and best practice for Event Cinemas 150+ local cinemas and presenting monthly to Marriott international marketing executives about digital trends, tools and KPIs. I enjoy collecting internal resources to help increase efficiency and consistency. If a resource is not already available, I will create one. At Hilton, I coordinated a COE support group from conception and I am now working on an integrated marketing plan for Ancillary business.
