Don’t miss out on Lakewood Retreat’s hayride, nature trails, Snak Shak, indoor games, open fire kettle popcorn, campfire with s’mores, archery instruction, canoeing, zip lining, and pool time (lifeguard on duty).

Also join in on Summer Camp activities like field games such as Save the Whales, crafts, morning challenges/activities, worship times and Impact services with dynamic teaching from God’s Word.

We have an amazing group of qualified counselors! Every camp staff member and counselor is required to pass a thorough background check. All our summer camp staff receive vigorous staff-training designed by our experienced Summer Camp Directors, George and Christina Benyola, who have been directing LWRSC for over 17 years!

Our nursing staff and assistants will ensure your campers are healthy and safe, so they are free to concentrate on just enjoying camp. Note from the summer camp Pastor: Camp is so much more than fun and friends. At Lakewood Retreat Summer Camp, we've worked hard to challenge you with the message of the gospel. For 2018, be ready to be freed from old mindsets that keep us from living out the fullness of what Jesus died to give us. Bring a Friend to Camp Incentive

A free $5 Snak Shak debit card will be awarded to every returning camper who brings a NEW friend to camp. Qualifications of a “new camp friend” are;they have never been to Lakewood Retreat’s Summer Camp Program, or they have NOT been to our Camp in the last three summers.

Every new friend brought is another $5!

- sleeping bag or linens for a twin size bed - pillow - toiletries (shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothbrush, etc.) - washcloths or pouf & 4 towels (2 for shower & 2 for poolside)

- swimsuit (modest, one-piece for girls) - sunscreen& bug spray - flashlight & extra batteries - light jacket or sweater - sneakers with socks (we do a lot of sports & walking on rough terrain)

- flip-flops or slides (for on-the-way to the Pool & Bath house onlyonlyonlyonly)

- medications (in original bottles – must be registered with Nurse upon arrival) We will keep our cabins a drug-free zone for our Campers. Please see Nurse or Director for questions concerning medications.
