True Testimonials of Woman who had an Abortion

"Doris Kalasky", Forced to have sex with her father, Doris became pregnant. When the pregnancy was discovered, she refused to have an abortion. Her father, however, found an abortionist who would perform the abortion without her consent. She alone has had to pay the price. Before I Had Time to Think, "Nancy Anders"  It was May 19, 1973. I was pregnant from a date rape. I had tried to hide it from my parents but of course they found out. Then the pressure started. "How are you going to go to college with a baby?" "How are you going to support it?" "It is only a blob of blood. It's not a baby yet." Before I had time to think about what I wanted, the abortion was over. Two Senseless Deaths: The Long Road to Recovery, by "Mrs. Julia Taylor"  Mary was the victim of a date rape. When the man found out, he tried to make her have an abortion. She refused and would have nothing to do with him.  Afte council, she gave in.  Mary didn't last the hour. After 40 minutes she was in a coma and on full life support.  By the time Mary was taken to the ICU, it was too late to save her.

1. WHAT IS ABORTION? An is the premature termination of pregnancy ending in the death of the embryo or fetus. A pregnancy that ends early, but where the embryo or fetus survives to be born as an infant is instead a premature birth. In medicine, the following terms are used to define an abortion: Spontaneous abortion: An abortion due to accidental trauma or natural causes. Also known as a stillbirth or miscarriage. Induced abortion: Deliberate (human induced) abortion. Induced abortions are further subcategorized into therapeutic abortions and elective abortions.

Therapeutic abortion: An abortion perfomed because the pregnancy poses physical or mental health risk to the pregnant woman (gravida). Elective abortion: An abortion perfomed for any other reason.

In common parlance, the term "abortion" is used exclusively for induced abortion.

2.HISTORY OF ABORTION

Abortion, in some form, has existed in the human race for millennia. Ancient tribes would sometimes be forced to move quickly, and after pregnant women could slow the entire tribe down. Abuse of the woman’s abdomen, and later abuse through excessive horseback riding, could cause the baby be born prematurely. This baby was the killed or left to die. Unfortunately, the mother also frequently died during the birthing.Today abortion is much safer the mother, but just as deadly as the child.

3. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF ABORTION?

A.    SUCTION – To abort an early pregnancy the Doctor inserts a tube through the opening of the womb and connects it to a SUCTION APPARATUS.B.     DILATION AND CURETTAGE (D&C) – In this technique the doctor stretches or dilates the mouth of the womb to admit a forceps or curette.C.     DILATION AND EXTRACTION (D&E) – Used after 13 weeks.D.    SALINE AMNIOCENTESIS – The doctor can stick a large needle through the mother’s belly wall and into the womb.

E.     PARTIAL BIRT ABORTION – In a late second and third trimester partial birth abortion the doctor turns the unborn child into the “breech” position (feet first) and pulls the child from the mother until all but the head as delivered.F.     INTER-CARDIAC INJECTION – Poison is injected into the chest or heart of the baby via a long needle inserted through the mother’s abdomen.G.     RU-486 – Mifeprex blocks the action of the hormone progesterone, which is needed to maintain the lining of the uterus providing oxygen and nutrients for the embryo.H.    BIRTH CONTROL ABORTION – Methotrexate, Norplant, IUDs, prostaglandins and Depo-Provera cause millions of early chemical abortions each year.

A. Pro-Abortion

No one defends the right to abortion in the fundamental, moral terms, which the Pro-Abortion rights forces are on the defensive. Abortion rights advocates should not cede the terms “PRO LIFE” to the Anti-Abortionist. It is a woman’s right to her life that gives her to terminate her pregnancy

B.  PRO- LIFE

Intentionally killing an innocent human being is a grave moral wrong, the abortion debate is not about poverty, capital punishment, redistribution of wealth or protection of the environment. It’s about one issue: What is unborn? The answer to that question trumps all consideration.

Reason Woman choose Abortion

Birth control (contraceptive) failure. Over half of all women who have an abortion used a contraceptive method during the month they became pregnant. ·         Inability to support or care for a child. ·         To end an unwanted pregnancy. ·         To prevent the birth of a child with birth defects or severe medical problems. Such defects are often unknown until routine second-trimester tests are done. ·         Pregnancy resulting from rape or incest. Every year, about 13,000 women choose abortion after suffering rape or incest. ·         Physical or mental conditions that endanger the woman's health if the pregnancy is continued.

Teen pregnancy

·         Awareness that they are not mature enough to have a child. ·         Knowledge that they are financially not able to support or care for a child. ·         Concern that having a baby would change their lives and compromise their (and a child's) future—many young mothers don't ever manage to get the education and employment necessary to raise their child above the poverty line.
