DETAILS OF INSPECTED PREMISES: Single level residence (photo 1), radiata pine
structural timbers, concrete floor and foundation, brick exterior, tile roof, double car garage
included in home and alfresco area.

AREAS INSPECTED AND REPORTED ON PEST ACTIVITY
Foundation Area – Concrete floor and foundation. No termite or borer activity
located at inspection of exterior walls. Joists and Bearers – Concrete floor and foundation. Floor – No termite or borer activity located at time of inspection. Exterior Walls – No termite or borer activity located at inspection of exterior
walls, door and window surrounds. Home has been constructed with an exposed concrete slab base and should have a minimum slab edge of 75mm. Concrete path covers exposed edge in several places, giving termites a hidden entry point to cavity wall. Note – It appears a termite barrier has been installed between concrete path and home (photos 2 & 3). Note – No termite management notice was located at time of inspection.
Interior and Fittings – No termite or borer activity located at time of inspection.
Thermal imaging camera and moisture meter used during inspection.
Roof and Ceiling Timbers – No termite or borer activity located at the time of inspection.
Note – Roof void is insulated (photo 4).

Other Structures - Nil. Fences and yard area- No termite or borer activity located at time of inspection. Areas Not Accessible to Visual Inspection – Enclosed wall timbers (This report is based on the evidence visible at the time of
inspection.)
RECOMMENDATIONS – We recommend that as home has been constructed with an exposed concrete slab base to allow termite activity to be detected it must have a minimum slab edge of 75mm at all times. Information on installation dates and of termite systems should be sought from the current owners or builders on termite system around home. An annual termite and borer inspection be carried out on property.
