Cut to size listed in chart. 1/4” seam for piecing. Press all seams open, as you go, to reduce bulk. WOF = Width of Fabric

STRIP PIECING. Sew strips together along length and press seams open. Trim end square and then crosscut strip set into widths, as shown in red, according to the size indicated in the instructions. HST: Half Square Triangle. Place the White squares on the Background squares. Draw a diagonal GUIDE line, as shown in blue. Sew 1/4” along each side of the GUIDE line, as shown in red. Trim along GUIDE line and press seams open. Trim each HST according to the size indicated in the instructions. STOP: Stitch, Trim, Open & Press. 1. Align square (A) on top of unit (B), with right sides together. 2. Draw a diagonal line, as shown in red. 3. Sew along diagonal line. Trim ¼” seam. 4. Finger press seam open then press with a hot iron. 5. Align rectangle (C) on unit (B), with right sides together. 6. Draw a diagonal line, as shown in red. 7. Sew along diagonal line. Trim ¼” seam. 8. Finger press seam open then press with a hot iron.

Sew CHEEKS below EYES, then add Background (D) and sew below EARS = SIDES Sew MOUTH between Yellow (B), then sew below Black (B), and add Yellow (d) to sides. Sew below Yellow (R) and Background (L) = CENTER

Sew CENTER between SIDES to complete the “Winnie the Pooh” Block.

Sew Background (L) above HEAD and sew Background (K) below EARS, then sew HEAD between EARS = TOP Sew MOUTH between Light Pink (B), then sew below NOSE. Sew CHEEKS to sides and sew between Background (M) = BOTTOM. Sew BOTTOM below TOP to complete the “Piglet” Block.

Arrange completed blocks and sew them into rows using the Background (BS) between the blocks. Sew the Background (RS) between the rows. Add the Background (SB) to the sides. Add the Background (TBB) to the top and bottom to complete quilt top. Layer your quilt top, batting and backing. Baste and quilt as desired. Prepare your binding, apply to finished quilt.
