Is spearheading a fundraising effort to restore our old 1965 Landrover Fire Truck the “Spitfire”. Our goal is $10,000.00. Once restored, our hope is to place it next to the museum or in front of the fire house in Hope Town so everyone can enjoy it for years to come. This is a very important part of Hope Town Fire & Rescue history. We will be running various fundraiser events. On Easter Saturday “Family Fun Day” we hope to move the truck to in front of the Inn for the children to see and enjoy. On May 7 th we will hold a “Grill Night” with music, and on July 4 th , we will have a big bash with a silent auction, music, great food and fun. We’d appreciate any donations of any amount towards our goal, either monetary or for the silent auction. All monetary donations should be made out to Hope Town Fire and Rescue with a note that it should be for the Fire Truck Restoration.
