ONTARIO SECONDARY SCHOOL REQUIREMENTS (OSSD)

30 Credits▸18 compulsory credits▸12 elective credits

Literacy Test▸You took the literacy test during Grade 10.▸You must pass the test before you can graduate.

40 Hours of Community Service▸Are you completed some of your hours yet?▸ It has been difficult volunteering since COVID – don’t worry▸During the pandemic there are additional options for

volunteering with family or through paid employment (you may collect up to 10 hours)

■Students can take a maximum of 4 courses per semester including virtual and night school courses (exceptions to this are band & vocal music, language school, dual-credit)
