Two Bunch Palms Elementary has generated 248,000 kWh since PTO
of 11/5/2014 Bubbling Wells Elementary has generated 233,000 kWh
since PTO of 11/6/2014 Desert Hot Springs High has generated 32,000
kWh since PTO of 1/7/2015 To date, total energy generated is
513,000 kWh from the solar arrays is $95,418 (513,000 X $ 0.186
kWh).

PSUSD has space for more ground mount solar arrays at Wenzlaff
Education Center roughly 2 miles from CVP Sentinel Power Plant in
Desert Hot Springs, if additional funds become available

PSUSD Facilities staff has been working with South Coast Air
Quality Management District staff since early 2013 after being
awarded the Sentinel Power Plant AB 318 Mitigation Fees grant
funds. For this opportunity to work with SCAQMD staff and the grant
funds, we are truly grateful. This grant will have a direct impact
on the community, students and staff for the next 20 years. With
sincere appreciation, the Palm Springs Unified School District
thanks the SCAQMD and everyone involved for making this opportunity
possible.
