S.A. Engineering College was established by the Dharma Naidu Educational &

Charitable Trust in the year 1998-'99.The college is approved by AICTE Delhi and

affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The college is well-planned with

4 lakhs sq.ft. of constructed area which includes classrooms, Drawing Halls,

Laboratories, workshops and associated faculties. In recognition of quality system

of high quality policy being implemented by the Institution, M/s TUV NORD has

accorded ISO 9001:2008 Certification. All the under graduate programs offered are

accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), NEW DELHI and Accredited

About Mechanical Engineering Department :

The department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1998.The department is accredited by NBA. The department

is recognized as R&D centre by Anna University. The department has received funded projects worth Rs. 52 lacs by AICTE and DST.

The department of Mechanical Engineering is armed with well qualified and experienced faculty members with Industrial and

Research background, class rooms equipped with AV aids, tutorial rooms, seminar hall and well established laboratories.

About Civil Engineering Department :

The department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2011.The Department has well qualified and experienced faculty

in all areas of Civil Engineering. The department has well equipped laboratories for the UG programme and also department aides

scholars in doing material testing in various laboratories.
