A•mist6C Compact Oil Mist FilterThe Absolent type A•mist Oil mist filter featu-res one of the most effective systems in the world for cleaning oil mist. The compact filter unit A•mist6C is designed for air flows up to 600m³/h. The filter unit can be installed close by or on top of the metalworking machine and is thus especially suitable where floor space is restricted.

The highest possible collecting efficiency.The filtered air becomes so clean that it usually can be returned to the premises. This means less loss of energy and a more balanced ventilation. Extremely low maintenance.Absolent filter units can usually run for at least one year without requiring a filter change. In the majority of applications, Absolent fi ter cassettes are washable*. OperationThe filtering process occurs in two stages. The first stage consists of the self-draining Absolent filte , in which up to 90% of the oil mist is arrested. The second stage consists of a H13 HEPA filte , which has a guaranteed and consistent collecting efficiency of 99.97% arresting 0.3µm dia. particles. The filter unit has an electronic pressure gauge, A•monitor, which shows the pressure drop over the different filter stages and indicates when a filter cassette is to be changed. Thanks to the continuous draining of the fi ter cassettes, the unit can be operated without interruptions. The return oil is collected at the bottom of the filterfor recycling.

OperationThe filtering process occurs in either one or two stages. The first stage consists of the self-draining Absolent filter, in which up to 95% of the oil mist is collected. If you choose two-stage filtration, the unit includes a H 13 HEPA filter rated at 99.97% @ mpps (≈ 0.14 microns). The status of the filter cassettes are monitored by an electronic manometer, which monitors and indicates when a filter needs to be changed or washed. The electronic manometer can also provide an external alarm signal to the machine operator or to a central service desk.Thanks to the continuous draining of the filter cassettes, the unit can be operated without interruptions. The return oil is collected at the bottom of the filter for recycling or waste. Of course you have a two year machine warranty for the A•mist10C . This excludes filter cassettes as they are consumables.

Cost effectiveAbsolent filter units usually run for at least one year without requiring filter change. In the majority of applications, Absolent filter cassettes are washable*). The result is an extremely cost efficient oil mist filtration, creating a clean air stream that can be returned into the plant. Subsequently, heating or cooling energy is preserved and the general HVAC balance in the plant is easier maintained.

The Absolent type A•mist80C oil mist filter revolutionizes the filtration of bigger air flows (from 8000m³/h) with moderate particle loads by making it both cheaper and easy to adjust to different preconditions. A•mist80C is a modular filter system without fan, where you can choose the number of filter stages (one filter stage per module) depending on how dirty the incoming air is and how clean you want it to become. The filter unit is for example well suited as a prefilter for ventilation units, where oil mist can cause high cleaning costs and reduce the efficiency of the heat exchanger.

Absolent’s well-known high quality.The filter unit is developped and proven in our own laboratory. For a still better draining capacity, the filter cassettes are placed diagonally.Different filter cassette choices.Depending on the particle load in the incoming air, there are different filter cassettes to choose from. All filter cassettes are part of our standard oil mist range.Extremely low maintenance - low LCCAbsolent filter cassettes are self-draining and the drained liquid is led out of the filter unit. The only service necessary is changing or washing the filter cassettes. How often this happens depends on the particle load in the incoming air - please contact us and we are happy to make a LCC-analysis with your preconditions!
