    Purpose of Visit/MeetingMonthly IR follow up. The school should present data as it relates to:- RTI data (grades, discipline, attendance, early warning systems)- School Improvement Plan review of activ ities to date (completed, inprogress, delayed or newly identified)- Change from baseline dataIdentified StrengthsThe school is holding enrollment at 160 students which is sufficient tosustain the schools finances. The school was also recently a warded acharter school grant that allowed the school to purchase needed coreacademic and supplemental instructional materials.Indicators of Progress- School has Renaissan ce Learning/Enterprise version or "lighthouse"version. They are a pilot for the program- The school also has Discovery Education (Think Link) that will allowthe school to secure speci fic information and or data to project to thestudents potential success on FCAT.- Some evidence of increased hands-on learning in science.- The schools does have a FCIM calendar in reading aligned to baselineperformance outcomes to support reteaching/interventions.Identified Challenges/Concerns- Assistant Principal position was deleted and is now being converted toa instructional coach position.- The school should consider posting vacanc y with the consortium anddistrict to expand the number of potential candidates.- School currently does not have instru ctional coaches for reading, mathand/or science. - School has vacanc y in 2nd grade- Delays in the implementation of FOCUS (new district data managemen tsystem) did not allow for an accurate review of the grade data. Shouldbe completed by November 4th, 2011.- FCIM process inc omplete (reteaching, retestin g and enrichmen t notevident on campus in all areas)- Not all students tested in FAIR API window (makeup testing occurringnow)- Science baselin e data missing. (Information was sent to Mr. Lambertwho is no longer with the school.)- School does not have current science instructional materials and as aresult they are unable to adequately meet the new science standards.- Math - has very few students scoring at or above proficienc y.     indicates very low performance.- Math - new teachers will require Go Math training and support.Required Follow-Up (Indicate who is respo nsib le for follow-up)- Monitor the posting, candidate selection and hiring of new staff toensure they meet the requirements.- School will submit RTI data by Thu rsday November 10th, 2011 to RT ISpecialist.- RTI next steps - coa ch is good with data and will work to esta blishthe data notebooks and processes for referral and follow up. They willalso establish meeting schedule, record keeping, parental contact andother documentation. The RTI coach will start attending monthly regionalcoaches meeting.- RTI coach given access to FDLRS- District contact Mandy Mann was contacted to support PBS.- FCIM training and calendar development based upon baseline data andother data sources.- RIGOR still lacking- Implementation of leveled readers and question stems- 4th grade will implement CIS with StoryTown.- Training on unwrapping the benchmarks in mathematics /science.
