Our National L&D Framework consists of the L&D Roadmap and L&D Calendar. The L&D Roadmap is made up of mandatory training that is matched to the requirements of an employee’s position level. Role-specific optional training will be informed by an employee’s Development Plan, Annual Work Plan and Annual Staff Review.
The L&D Roadmap will be rolled out on a priority basis, commencing February 2013. With the exception of induction, we will advise staff which program sessions to attend. The National L&D Framework is a long-term initiative and it is envisaged that the implementation will take several years, with ongoing updates.
