Details[Phenomenon]The wire cleaner drive screw for automatic cleaning of the primary corona wire may be deformed, likelycausing noise because the screw collides with the CRG rail during automatic cleaning of the primarycorona wire.
[Cause]Since the front side of the drive screw is regulated by the gear and the rear side by the bushing, if thedrive screw expands due to a rise in the internal machine temperature, because of variations in partstolerances the center part of the drive screw may be bent; should this occur it is likely to cause the screwto collide with the CRG rail.
[Factory measure]The length of the drive screw has been shortened by 1.4 mm to prevent heat-induced expansion.
