    Key Information ExplanationSporting Organization Larkhall Athletic football club is a volunteer ran

    club which provides coaching keen footballerswho wish to play football competitively.They have their own facilities which are helpedwith the funding from charity raisers and lottery

    fund.The Sport(s) with which each is associated The main sport they associate with is football;

    they compete within regional leagues andchampionships.

    Organisational Aims Larkhall Athletics main aim is to provideexcellent coaching services to footballers toallow them to develop as a player.

    Target Groups The main target groups are young children, as itis easier to coach a player from a young age asthey can progress quicker and more efficientlythan that of someone who starts playing footballlater on, but older players are also fit within thetarget group criteria as long as they are healthyenough (medical). Cannot play if someone has aheart condition.

    Standards of Facilities and Services Larkhall Athletic hire the facilities andequipment, this is what the membership subscover, this allows players to use the sufficientequipment to help develop the players.

    Pricing Structure To sign for a membership subscriptions, a playerneeds to pay 30 deposit in September and afurther 10 a month from October to April.This helps pay for;-Hire of tr aining facilities-Hire of equipment-Hire of match pitches-Purchase of equipment (e.g. footballs, goals) etc.-FA fees-League fees-Club administration costs-CRB checks-Coaching development costs-Referee fees

    Extent of Partnerships With Other Sectors Public sectors help sponsor Larkhall Athletic,they have received lottery funding in 1996, this

    enabled Larkhall to cover facilities andequipment

    Government GrantsAn award of financial assistance in the form of money by

    the federal government to an eligible grantee with noexpectation that the funds will be paid back .

    After researching into whether the Government have givenmoney to Larkhall Athletic FC, I have not found anythingsaying that they have received money.If they wanted a Governmental grant, there is many placesthey could go, Cash4clubs is a website where grants can beapplied for, and they have invested millions into safetyschemes and equipment for clubs. The money is supportedand invested by the SportsAid and Betfair. The funding canrange from 250 up to 1000.

    Non Government GrantsIndependent private grants given and not expected to be

    paid back, free of government control .

    Larkhall Athletic do not receive non government grants, asthe company s that sponsor them require advertisement onthe kit they play in, and possibly on the teamscoach/minibus.

    Member LoansA loan offered by a group of members of the organisation

    who work together to provide funds for a single borrower.

    Larkhall Athletic FC will not receive member loans becausethe people who work within the club volunteer for the club,providing coaching, officials etc. People help due to theirlove for the game and coaching, or for the club which hashelped them develop.Also, the owner of the club will not be able to pay the loan

    back.

    Financial Institution LoansA loan, which takes money from clients and places it in the

    organisation and return later on

    The club do not have these loans due to the fact the club isa non profitable organisation, meaning that the club will notbe able to pay back the loan.

    Membership SubscriptionsA subscription made members to the organisation, as for a

    periodical for a specified period of time or for a series of performances .

    Larkhall athletic FC do receive money f rom the players,known as subs, this money goes towards transport,equipment and players insurance.The prices are; 30 deposit followed by 10 a month fromOctober to April

    Lottery FundingMoney given to an organisation from the lottery

    Larkhall Athletic has received lottery funding in1996.

    Private InvestmentType of financial investment from people or businesses

    which meets either of these criteria;

    a) It has less than 100 investors, orb) Its member investors have substantial funds investedelsewhere

    Bath Business Web sponsor Larkhall Athletic football Club,they invest money into the club to help them for transport,equipment etc. But they expect advertisement for thebusiness in return, showing the name and the logo of theircompany on the kit of the team.

    DonationsThe making of a gift/ giving of money especially to a charity

    or public institution

    Larkhall Athletic hold fundraisers such as fashion shows,with the models being the players (male and female)andthe wives and girlfriends. This will raise money for trainingand match facilities, officials and equipment etc.
