Welcome to our first RCI newsletter for the 2017

A Year of Supernatural Expansion Our verse for our theme is 1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

OUTREACH NEWS

It has been a busy year so far. There have been two mission trips to India and the Philippines. Dr Lloyd and Pastor Clara Manyangadze were accompanied by the mission team and they brought good news of a revival in these two nations.

Indian Mission in Hyderabad Many gave their lives to Jesus with many wonderful testimonies. We asked Brother KC as to the highlight of the trip as it was his first and I quote ‘India, a hurricane of sounds, smells, and colour in an environment that’s both mesmerising, exotic, exciting and mystical but at times frustrating, confusing and chaotic. Wonderfully different, spice of life.

Philippine Mission in Malabon and Las Pinas, Manila The mission team came back on a spiritual high. They were truly blessed and refreshed was the word most used to describe the time in the Philippians. The children worship was a highlight. The whole team were moved and challenged by the level of understanding the children had about the presence of GOD.

TIME TO PRAY

RCI have embraced prayer in this year of Supernatural expansion. Dr Lloyd declared that this year we will all grow spiritually. SUPERNATURAL RESTORATION FIRE CONFERENCE

We had our annual conference the weekend 25th of August to the 27th of August 2017. Our theme was Supernatural Restoration Fire Conference. We asked the Sunday School children what the theme meant and these are the answers they gave… Supernatural - Extraordinary, not man made, only something GOD can do like a miracle. Restoration - To give back what has been taken away. Fire - Power of GOD, Presence of GOD. Conference - A gathering of people.

To sum up using the children description the conference was a gathering where GOD was giving back what was stolen by his power.

We were braced by the presence of Pastor Yemi Balogun from Revelation TV and Pastor Andrew White from Victory Gospel church in Southampton. We were truly blessed.

A note from Reverend Lloyd on the Conference

We have had an awesome presence of the Holy Spirit and undiluted preaching of the Gospel, since Friday, by Revelation TV Host, Pastor Yemi Balogun, with many healed and delivered yesterday! And, we thank God for the great attendance too, with overflow downstairs! Pastor Andrew White came with his lovely wife and closed the conference with a bang. Signs and wonders always follow this mighty man of GOD wherever he ministers and this day was no different.

WORSHIP CORNER

It was not only the RCI mission team visiting all over the world but we had visitors too.

On Resurrection Sunday, we were blessed by a visit from Lydia Marrow of Shake the Nations, an Anointed Worship Leader, Speaker and Writer/Editor. She ministered powerfully and it was a true blessing to have her. What a treat for the worship team.

EVANGELISM

We were also blessed in July by the missionary team coming from the USA and Canada. They had inspiring and moving testimonies about how they came to Jesus on the RCI radio and face book.

YOUTH CORNER

The ‘Joshua Generation’ as we call them had a service in May. GOD moved mightily in the service. The young people are under attack left, right and centre but GOD has raised his standard. Led by their Pastors they led the service powerfully. It is wonderful to see the gifting’s upon our youth.

A week later they went to the BIG Church day out where they were many artists. Their highlight was singing along to their favourite gospel artists who they had only seen on TV. It is reported that many did not want to come back home. The youth strongly deny the allegation.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

The fastest growing ministry of the church had their conference. Led by Pastor Shumba the children ministered powerfully. The conference theme was ’We are Called Out to the Nations’ Children Conference 2017.

TESTIMONY CORNER

Revelation 12:11 (KJV)

11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

BIBLE STUDY CORNER BY PASTOR KAY

Matthew 4:4 Men shall not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of GOD.

Our word for the month 2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Fear says:

- What if things go wrong

- What if I fail

- What will people think or say

These are constant tormenting thoughts set to put you in a corner and write you off before you even step out. Your greatest regret could be living in the constraints of where fear has allowed you to border, thinking that’s the best you can do and how far you can go. Without ever testing your own boundaries fear can keep you locked up in a prison which you hold the key to. But hope comes and says…

Philippians 4:13 You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. And GOD has not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and sound mind. Make it your aim to push the boundaries of where ever your fear lies.
