Slide 4 To lurk is to hide, usually with a bad intention. How are the words lurk and hide the same? How are they different? Lurk If you see a cat lurk near a birdbath, it is likely that the cat is looking for a meal! Slide 5 As someone swallows, he or she is moving food from the mouth to the rest of the digestive system.
