Joni Madraiwiwi “I am delighted that this book has brought together some of the works of Mr. Savenaca Siwatibau. Siwa will be remembered the most as being the first Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji. He commanded the respect of everyone and built the reputation that has made this institution so highly regarded in Fiji and the region today. As did everyone who worked closely with Siwa at the Reserve Bank, I was immensely impressed with his sharp technical knowledge, which was always delivered in a clear but above all respectful and humble manner”. Savenaca Narube, Governor, Reserve Bank of Fiji “Savenaca Siwatibau was a fiscal disciplinarian and a strong believer in creating an identity of excellence in people. He strongly advocated these views in his long public service and international career. is book provides an excellent collection of Siwatibau’s own writings and a selection of the many accolades written about him”.
