A united gathering with the local churches

Vision- Empires is a united gathering with the local churches through a neutral ministry at neutral sites that seeks to see peoples lives impacted by God. Our belief is that the 3 essentials to a truly healthy and fulfilling life are faith, hope, and love so our aim is to help create a real environment of faith that allows the hope of the world (Jesus) to bring faith, hope, and love into the lives of many.

Connection- We are connected with two Longview pastoral alliances in the Longview Clergy Coalition and the Longview Area Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance.

Venues- Belcher Center- This is the Belcher Center and it seats around 2,000. I have met with the Senior Director about the possibility of having an Empires night at the venue.

Spring Hill stadium-This is the Spring Hill stadium and it seats around 4,000 (not including seats on the ground). The Athletic Director and I have agreed that June would be a month that would work best to have an Empires night.

Longview Lobo stadium- This is the Longview Lobo stadium and it seats around 9,000 (not including seats on the ground). Longview is well known in Texas for its football. They told us that we could do an Empires night in the future but we have to agree on a date as well as abide by some rules that they have in place.

Pine Tree stadium – This is the Pine Tree stadium and it seats around 6500 (not including seats on the ground). After exchanging emails with the Facility Services Administrative Assistant, the Pine Tree football stadium is now on the list of

venues we are able to use for Empires. We will have to abide by the Facilities Handbook, which includes all fees and guidelines.

Make-A-Wish Foundation- After speaking with Make-A-Wish’s national office, they directed me to their North Texas contact who just happened to be coming to Longview the next day. We sat down and discussed Empires and we are now linked up with Make-A-Wish. KETK//Longview News-Journal//K-Love//KVNE//Alpha Media & Townsquare Media//American Investments Consulting-

• KETK- KETK has communicated that they would like to do a preview story on Empires as well as doing a live interview.

• K-Love- K-Love has made it clear that they would be open to communicating Empires on the radio but first a form would need to be filled out.

• KVNE- KVNE let us know that their music director has relationships with “all artists and their labels.” Due to FCC guidelines, a nonprofit like Make-A-Wish would need to put on the concert and handle the financial aspects so they could be involved. This is beneficial because we can now potentially work through them to bring in artists for Empires.

• Alpha Media and Townsquare Media- I spoke with Robert Taylor and Mia Tallant from Alpha Media and Townsquare Media about channeling Empires through their radio stations to get the word out.

• Javier Mendoza, who is apart of the Empires team, owns American Investments Consulting and he will look to market Empires through social media.

High schools and colleges- We have communicated with Pine Tree, Spring Hill, White Oak, Henderson, ETBU, Letourneau, TJC, Kilgore College and UT Tyler about advertisement by flyers and with all the schools, the flyer must be preapproved before distribution. Due to policy and procedure, Marshall can put up a flyer in the lounges across the district. Financial- Once the night has been planned, we have sponsorship interest from Chick-Fil-A, Good Shepherd Hospital, Peters Chevrolet, Waggoner Custom Homes, etc. Hillsong- I am a former Hillsong College student and through Jad Gillies, I was able to discus having Hillsong United lead an Empires night with the Hillsong United management team. I just recently reached out to Carl Lentz in New York City about having him speak at an Empires night in the future and I also reached out to Hillsong about having Brian Houston (founder and leader of the global church Hillsong-locations in Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, etc.) speak at the Longview Lobo stadium down the line. Hillsong NYC has submitted the request to their team and Ellie McGregor, from Pastor Brian and Bobbie Houston’s office, has sent the request directly to Brian Houston. I connected with Pastor Brian on Instagram and he has not viewed the Empires document yet. Hillsong United
