Our management team combines our experience and love of exceptional food, decoration and service to ensure your event is a success.
Chris Vulovic, CEO & General Manager founded Stoked to create a special place in the San Elijo Hills community for quality food, ambiance and service. Chris brings over 20 years of professional experience and education at Cornell University in Restaurant Management. Her focus is on the vision, marketing, business and culture at Stoked.
Café Manager, founder and co-owner, Charity Abelardo, along with Geraldine Couturier, Guest Services Manager, bring their background in organization and service to ensure the best experience for our guests.
Executive Chef, Alfonso Magadan, leads our team of experienced chefs to deliver flavorful creations in a carefully planned menu, presented to delight you.
Uncommon in a restaurant, most of of our team has been with us from the beginning and live in the community. They take great pride in their work and putting our guests first.
Together, with our team, we pull out all the stops to make your event special and every little detail is designed to make your event memorable for your guests.

If there were 20 stars I would click on 20 stars plus! I hired Stoked to cater my husband's surprise 50th birthday party and we planned it to perfection!

The communication with Stoked’s Chef and owners was excellent. They created a diversified menu, something for everyone including vegetarians. They made suggestions, allowed me to taste the food and wine while working in my budget.
We hand picked the menu together. From the shrimp appetizers, to the Burgundy Peppered Tri-tip with a port reduction sauce! IT WAS A HIT!!!
The red wine was probably the favorite of the night; our guests said it went perfect with the steak! Stoked has a nice selection of quality wine.
I had live band that played Classic Rock. We danced and sang at the top of our lungs!
Our guests mingled and enjoyed the ambiance under the lights and couples were snuggled up at the brick fireplace! It was a night to remember!!!
The staff was courteous and glasses were always full! We had 80 guests and said everything was awesome and the food was insane!!!!
Every single one of our guests were happy and went back for seconds!!! All I can say is I'm so glad I chose Stoked to have my husband's surprise 50th birthday party!!! He was completely surprised!

The San Elijo Hills Women's Club held our Parisian themed Annual Fundraiser at Cafe Stoked and we received rave reviews from each and every of our 150 guests, on the venue and the food.
During planning, Chris and Charity were always there for us as we needed some hand-holding for our first-ever event outside of someone's home. It was such a success last year, we are booked again for this year's event.
Kudos to Chris and Charity for being the ultimate hosts!

Planning the event couldn't have been easier. It was almost exclusively over email, I'm convinced Charity doesn't sleep; she'd answer my late night emails so promptly.

Our guests were blown away by the food and fantastic ambiance of the back patio. Really, the food was great!

I highly recommend Cafe Stoked. Chris, Charity and the entire staff went above and beyond for my wedding. They arranged tables/chairs/etc... They even arranged my table settings. Oh, and also the food was amazing, not to mention gorgeous. Six months later, my friends are STILL talking about it.

Stoked catered food to our vacation rental for our family vacation. It was FANTASTIC!
The food was great- they discuss the menu and make what you like the way you like it. The food was fresh and very tasty. The servers were wonderful- they set up everything buffet style then returned to clean it all up later.
Really a great idea for catering a party or vacation. Let them do the cooking and no mess either.

It's not often I write about places, but when someone goes above and beyond, I must share. I was with my real estate agent when I had a unexpected call to go back to the airport and I needed catering for passengers flying on a private aircraft leaving in an hour. My agent took me to Stoked where I explained my dilemma and my need for lunch to be catered for 9 ASAP. The staff, even though not yet prepared for lunch, did not hesitate, with a "can do" attitude created a wonderful assortment of salads, sandwiches with amazing presentation for such short notice.
My clients raved and I looked like a rock star. They were not only impressed something could be arranged with such short notice, but with the quality, uniqueness, and presentation Stoked delivered. They specifically requested that I use them in the future. Thank you for all you did for me, and I will be back soon.

We love our schools and kids. Stoked offers a 10% discount to schools and we create fun and inexpensive team parties for sports and academic teams. We’ve also had the opportunity to have music students come to play for their loved ones.

Chips and Salsa Bar Served with fresh guacamole, roasted tomato salsa, green tomatillo salsa, pico de gallo, and mango salsa (mango at higher menu cost).
Quesadillas A favorite of children and adults; quesadillas made to order for any taste with fresh ingredients from roasted veggies, grilled chicken or simply cheese for the kids.

A festive selection of Mexican favorites. A great menu for kids and adults with options for vegetarians and gluten free guests.
Bruschetta Fresh, ripe tomatoes and basil dressed lightly in extra virgin olive oil and served over grilled, rustic bread. Served with shaved Parmesan cheese. Garlic Bread Toasted ciabatta bread spread with a Parmesan garlic butter. The perfect accompaniment to any Italian dish. Meatball Subs Hand made pork, beef & chorizo sausage meatballs on a French demi-baguette with tomato sauce & provolone cheese. Pasta Bar Everyone loves pasta night! Buttered pasta, marinara sauce & meatballs with Parmesan cheese. Pizza Fingers Cheese pizza, pizza sauce & mozzarella cheese on a crisp, ciabatta crust. Cut into fingers, easy for kids too eat. Caprese Salad Fresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and pesto over a bed of arugula and drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and drops of balsamic glaze. Eggs Benedict Treo A selection of ham, crab or spinach layered on a toasted muffin and topped with a perfectly poached egg and rich béarnaise sauce.
Roast Vegetables with Pesto Grill Sandwich Layers of vegetables, marinated and roasted until caramelized, drizzled with pesto. Served on rustic bread with melted mozzarella.
The New Caesar Salad A new take on a classic. Crisp leaves of romaine in Caesar dressing with fresh baked croutons, a treat of goat cheese at the bottom and heirloom tomatoes.

Roasted Marinated Shrimp Marinated in our smoked paprika marinade and then cooked at a high heat until just done, these are a delight on the palate. Served with roasted vegetables and peppers.
Chicken Von Velute Tender chicken and vegetables in a beautiful velute white sauce. Presented in puff pastry shells topped with poached asparagus.

Entertainment is generally set up in the main hall to allow both the dining room and patio area to hear. The main hall provides a fantastic area for dancing for private events.
Stoked has relationships with many entertainers, or you can bring in your own for your event.

Specialty items can be rented from one of our partners.
Stoked does not charge an additional cost to use our items and we only pass the cost on to our customers for rental items.
