A Tribute to OurRiverview Family Veterans

Veteran’s Day pays tribute to all American Veterans –

living or dead -

but especially gives thanks to living veterans who served their country

honorably during wartime and peacetime.

These are a few of our hometown heroes.

Andrew SevernUS Air Force 2004-2008

Andrew was stationed at

Minot Air Force Base in ND and

did tours in Guam, Diego

Garcia and Iraq.

Andrew is the son of Ken and Nancy Severn.

Matthew, a 2009 Plymouth High School Graduate, is currently

stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. He is the son of Ken and

Nancy Severn.

Vietnam 1966-1967

Captain Ronchetti is the grandfather of Joe Chandler.

Corporal Charles P. NelsonUS Army 1944-1946

Corporal Nelson is the great

grandfather of Katie Richart. He served

during WWII in Ardennes, Rhineland,

Central Europe.

PFC Harold DiederichUS National Guard

1965-1971

PFC Diederich is the grandfather of

Courtney Diederich. He

served inWI, CA, and NC.

Ensign James KellingUS Navy

The cousin of Jenna Iserloth, Ensign Kelling is stationed on the USS Port

Royal in Perl Harbor Hawaii.

James is currently deployed with the 5th Fleet

in the Persian Gulf.

A1C Nicole Hall Merz

Air National Guard

Airman Merz is the daughter of Dawn

Hall. She enlisted in 2009 and is currently

stationed atVolk Field Air Base in Camp Douglas, WI.

Sergeant Robert HalfmanUS Army

Sergeant Halfman is the

grandfather of Sylvia Peters.

He served during the Korean War

from 1953 to 1954.

Ronald SchoenfeldSp/5 US Army

Sp/5 Schoenfeld served from 1956-1959  at Fort Lewis, WA; Fort Rucker, AL;

and Fort Gordon, GA. He is the grandfather of Katie Richert.

John BonhoffLieutenant Colonel, Field

Artillery, USAR

John Bohnhoff served 29 years, 1982-2007. He served in Afghanistan and was presented the

Meritorious Service Medal by the Afghanistan

government. John is Julie Overby’s twin

brother.

Warren Gunderson

Specialist E4 US Army

Specialist Gunderson served in the Hawk Missle Division, 7th Armory Europe. He was

stationed in Germany in 1962-1964 and served an additional 4 years in the Army

Reserve. He is the grandfather of Cole Held and Hannah Held.

Plebe Lukas J OhmanCurrently attending the US Naval Academy

Lucas will attend the academy for 4 years then serve as a Naval Office for the 5 years.

Lucas is Erik Ohman’s brother.

Mark is in his 16th year of active service. He served in the Persian Gulf in Iraq and Afghanistan.

He is an uncle to Aidan Woida, Brooklin Willoughby, and Nevin Weigert.

Todd KronbergUS Navy 1984-1988Petty Office 3rd Class

Petty Officer Kronberg was stationed at Naval Air Station LeMoore, CA, and Naval Air Station Atsugi, Japan. He served with Fighter Attack Squadron

192 (World Famous Golden Dragons). He is the father of Kyra Kronberg.
