Remote Services – a powerful Diagnostic Solution.

How it worksRemote Services incorporates a telemetric device that stores selected information and then transmits it in real time or at predeterminedintervals to an MTU remote server via a mobile phone network. The data can then be accessed via a secure Internet connection. The only thing you need is a computer with Internet access.

Scope of supplyMTU supplies the complete Remote Services package: — Telemetric device— Connection cable and antenna— SIM card for data transmission via the mobile phone network— Installation documentation— Web-based operating instructions— Storage capability on an MTU remote server

Remote Services: keeping business decisions simple Remote Services allows you direct access to the activity of your MTU engines and systems – no matter where you are. With Remote Services you can call up at your convenience all information on your MTU engines and systems on the Internet for analysis. It provides the best foundation for making targeted operational decisions quickly and effi ciently improving performance and your profi t margin by avoiding downtime through early fault identifi cation.

The exact locations of your MTU-powered fl eet are all shown in one view. From there you can easily select individual engines and systems to access specifi c data.

Status of the fl eet gives you a greater sense of security and reduces downtimes.

Real-time detailed analysis is possible for service planners. Together with MTU, service expert analysis up through to development can take place.

Functional evaluation of performance helps you optimally deploy vessels and schedule service and operation.

Here, the exact route of the vehicles or vessels can be traced. Values of the pressures, temperatures, and other engine data can be displayed for any point along the route that the vehicle or ship has taken. This provides highly skilled know-ledge of the operation and helps to make logistical decisions easier, making more effi cient use of service time and optimizing arrangements.

Service planners have the opportunity for detailed analysis. Together with our MTU service staff, expert analyses up through to development is possible.

Detailed error analysis can be done using the alarm log. From there the necessary repairs can be decided on and planned. Even the right spare parts can be obtained using the alarm log. Downtimes can be reduced.

Errors are detected early, so corrective measures can be taken. Service planners can also be notifi ed of any error messages, signifi cantly reducing response times.

Vehicles or vessels with changing routes can directly compare their location with the location of the closest MTU service center. This ensures quick assistance in case of need.

The web application provides support so that the details for operation can be learned quickly and easily.
