This 15th century mill house provides the stunning backdrop to

your perfect day with an amazing location near Chagford in the

beautiful Dartmoor National Park. Bordering the River Teign

which weaves its way through the lush grounds this delightful

country house hotel can be yours for the day to delight and

charm your friends and family.

The friendly atmosphere allows guests to relax with no stuffy

rules or restrictions and our experienced, award winning team

will help guide you through every step of the way.

We offer exclusive use of our hotel and its individually styled

bedrooms, so Mill End truly feels like your private country house

for the day. Small intimate weddings fit perfectly in our lounges

and dining room or for larger groups our charming marquee can

be hired to provide a lovely setting for your celebration.

Our 6 acres, surrounded by fabulous Dartmoor scenery, are

yours for the day for those perfect wedding photos.

We enjoy a superb location with all the dramatic beauty of the Dartmoor National Park yet right by the A382 just off the A30 from Exeter (20 miles) and Okehampton, so we’re always reachable no matter what the weather.

We are fully licensed for civil weddings and partnerships for both indoor and outdoor ceremonies using our charming summerhouse. Our maximum number for daytime guests is 80 and 150 for the evening celebration. We can also host just your reception if you are looking to get married in one of the lovely local churches

Our award winning chefs will amaze you with their skills producing an excellent quality banquet or buffet for you and your guests. All our ingredients wherever possible come from the Moor and are therefore the highest quality. We are happy to adapt our menus if you have a theme or special request and will ensure your catering looks as good as it tastes.

For smaller intimate groups our Mill Restaurant is a lovely setting for your banquet or our fully lined marquee has everything you need for a large feast with up to 80 of your friends and family.

Our hotel bedrooms include a full suite, junior suite, small double, 2 twin rooms and a combination of standard and king-size doubles. Each room has its own individual charm and extra beds can be added for children on request (surcharge applies).

We are pet friendly too so your pooch doesn’t need to miss out on the special day. Wedding parties must take all the rooms in the hotel for the wedding night. Special rates are available for stays of 2 nights or longer if you want to make a weekend of it or enjoy a mini break in this wonderful location.
